Don't insinuate that I'm not serious about college. Not helpful. If I wasn't serious, I wouldn't know what I want to do, wouldn't have broken 2000 on the SAT, and wouldn't have the stellar grades that I have. So don't insinuate that by not having done something you hadn't asked me to do, that I hadn't even known was possible, that I'm not serious.
At the same time, thanks for doubting me at every turn about my plans. I know what I want to do and where I want to go, and my grades and SAT score are in the high end of who they accept. Won't be difficult to get in. I also know that I'm pretty sure I don't want to go into economics, unless my upcoming AP courses this year change my mind, and I highly doubt they will.
Is it that you want to see me become an economist? I can tell you this already. It sucks, and it isn't changing anytime soon. Boom. My job's over. At least with this other career path, everybody who has graduated from the program has a job, and almost all of them are in the field they majored in. It's almost a guaranteed lock.
Have a good day.
