What is it this time, Monsieur Joan?

I was trying to see if there was a way to sort files in order by the date they were added to the folder but instead I got this.

Spoiler :

I am not having a good day.

I said I tried. They're swamped with applications as is. Somebody who can barely speak or walk and forgets their own name? Not a chance.

I often notice that despite your numerous hardships and rants about your circumstances, you never complain that it's an injustice and that somehow you deserve better. That's very rare and will serve you well.

I predict a very happy ending to the saga that is the life of Aimee.

RANT.....alcohol sales illegal in New South Wales on Good Friday. I'm mean that's unquestionably theocratic.

how would that serve her well in life?

It's quite rare in my opinion that's ones problems are either not influenced by or alternatively rectified by ones actions. Got wiped out in a Tsunami? Well yeah, you won't hear me say "your whinging". But I firmly believe that both an acceptance of life's ups and downs combined with a willingness to take steps to limit them is a good thing to develop.

Will miss part of the Ashes due to Uni, thankfully it is only at the start of semester, so it doesn't matter if I watch it all day.

Yeah, except that a person who doesn't strive to do better doesn't achieve anything better. Being content or just surrendering to all the bad events might be a morally good quality but it won't make you rich or successful.
@aimee: Try doing some work from home. Write a book, make a game, do translations. Also, can't you just break the contract for the other house? You stop paying, they stop serving.

Oh I'm not suggesting an acceptance that results in resignation, not for one minute. I'm suggesting that crying out to the universe about the crappy hands that are often dealt is, firstly often inaccurate when a close examination of the situation will often reveal ones own contribution to circumstance. Secondly, even when no contribution is evident, the solution is often in ones hands anyway.

Even then, if it's simply life screwing you over and no solution is evident, it's not like we haven't invented beer yet

I know two girls who are allergic to beer, vodka and most alcohols. As in they break out with giant rashes and could potentially die.

Is it worth it? Is that even life? Horrible.

I would say their solution is getting the pleasure centers of their brain wired up to an electric current.
