So I think I've developed an allergy to bananas. I didn't have this problem as a child but I did notice when I was in my late teens feeling a little queasy after eating one. Nowadays they make my stomach hurt followed by profuse vomiting. I did a little bumping around online and it turns out this is a symptom of a latex allergy.

Really? That's interesting. I've never heard of that before: the relation between latex and bananas.

As for STD's, just form a monogamous relationship and you're safe as you can be. Good luck with all those children, though.

Unless you mean that he eats male genitalia I'm inclined to think it's actual bananas. Though it still probably means something else, I'm pretty sure bananas don't contain latex...

I'm allergic to bananas. Bananas are fruits harvested on plantations in tropical regions and are not penises.

Although it's probably just bananas I'm allergic too, there's a link between banana allergies (and some other fruits) and latex allergies:

About to head out into Bali traffic to give my 64 year old aunty motorbike lessons. She has never even driven a push bike.

Could be interesting.

EDIT.....things went poorly. I suppose I'm partly to blame but she took off in a small alley, panicked, couldn't brake and run straight into the side wall. Toes all shredded, big chunk of skin off her thigh and shoulder, pretty much went into a mild shock.

Just got back from getting bandages, antiseptic etc.

Ketut, the bike rental guy not overly pleased.

When people say push-bike I always imagine a tricycle lawnmower (push-mower + bike). It's just a normal bicycle.

Still, if she was game, then good for her. But I bet you've put her off for life.

And I'm always amazed by people riding motorbikes in hot countries without any protective gear of any kind. (On account of the weather.)

The ground can be an awfully hard place when you hit it at speed.
