Wasn't it an Englishman who said "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"? You know, before it got misattributed to Voltaire.

Oh, the irony.

Oh, the irony.

The British don't seem to actually care about liberty, it seems. First they pretend to love it while they are imperialistic bastards, now they don't even try anymore.

EFF YOU SOCIOLOGY AND ENGLISH AND CHINESE FOR GIVING ME ASSIGNMENTS THIS LATE IN THE YEAR!!! [pissed]

ESPECIALLY YOU SOCIOLOGY I HOPE SOMEBODY TIES YOUR SHOELACES TOGETHER AND YOU FALL DOWN AND LOOK STUPID IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY!!!

What's your sociology assignment?
Reading and analyzing articles. They're not really that bad, but I slacked off and got backed up. It's my own fault. Sometimes the articles are also pretty politically slanted, like the latest from Gregory Mantsios on the role of media in class relations: "…inordinate wealth and power undermines democracy and… a “free market” economy can ravage a people and their communities." Ain't that dandy and sociological.

I just wrote a history paper about that. It was on media literacy.

I'm purring way too much passion into everything I do. Sure, it makes for some great ups, but the downs are terrible.

Edit: ^ Whaaat?

I just... why does it happen so often in certain aspects of my life, that I get an amazing luck until some point, and then at the very "tip of the Eisberg" there's a little damned detail that kills it all? You know how... in any kind of race, the 2nd place is more frustrating than the 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc? That's exactly the feeling that I'm getting. That I was only so amazingly little short of getting the whole thing and yet I never got it!

I have this big project at work, making 4 copies of a box full of documents and putting them in binders. Would have been much easier if the copier hadn't broke and now I have to hole punch everything by hand.

GRRRR!

I have to stay 2 hours late for a stupid meeting of the club bureaucracy at my college. If I don't go our membership is revoked and I don't trust anyone else to do it at this point. It's 3 strikes and obviously wasn't done right the first two times.

My parents woke me up at regular time for a delayed opening when I've constantly told them my logic. All of the other times we got a delayed opening the bus came at 7:30. Oh yeah, if it did come at 6:30, then I'd be waiting for two hours instead of the usual one that we wait on a 2-hour delay. And they're too goddamn stubborn to listen. If I told them 2+2=4, they would probably say it equaled three until I did it on a calculator.
