I hate when people back out of long-standing plans at the last minute. I now have a day to unload 1 or 3 beer festival tickets. I had one ticket come available last week on discovering I get free admission for volunteering one day, as did a coworker, and we might have a buyer for that pair. But I found out last night that a friend can't make it so now I need to find a buyer for that ticket, while spending most of today working at the event.

I hate people thinking that it's okay to kill other things. Like bugs. Bugs are living. And root vegetables, they're living and they die when we pull them up.

Humans are terrible things.

I also hate people who throw around their stuffed animals or throw them away or let their pets chew on them.

Generally I only kill flies and spiders. Cockroaches generally escape since they're too fast for me to hit them.

I used to kill ants for fun too but stopped it and now I'm quite fond of them.

By the way, unless you're a vegetarian, you're complicit in the slaughter of millions of animals every day.

One can make the argument vegetarians are complicit in the slaughter of animals. Because of their increased demand on vegetables, the price of vegetables goes up, making meat a better alternative.

I've swallowed flies several times by mistake. They taste weird but not too bad and they're crunchy. I haven't had any ill effects.
