i need more on my mind. i get so bored i usually just get something from 7-11, usually a Slurpee. see i could get a job, but they insist on phone numbers i actively refuse to use phones

You could get a job but you refuse to use a phone?? I think you've just lost several points on the "sensitivity to growing world unemployment" scale.

Why don't you use phones?

im deaf, and in all cases where i actually used phones i could not hear a word. now of the employers could email me it would be better... and i don't care about the world unemployment.

There are text messages and email enabled phones nowadays.

id much rather do both the way they were supposed to be from. the computer. i don't have a cell phone and i wont ever get one.

Well, that makes more sense, Math, but you can hardly trundle down to the local job centre and say, "I can't hear people on the phone, so I refuse to get a job."

i could try that, just to troll the people.

im kidding. maybe. ill just get some form of welfare while i find a suitable job for me...

Are you actually deaf, or is that just exaggeration?

moderate to severe hearing loss, its enough to prevent communication in phones or in real life. i coudl use a hearing aid, but those are too unreliable to spend $4,000 on...

The NHS is excellent for basic medical care in the UK. They may be cheap and cheerful, but at least everyone can have a hearing aid if they need one.

There was a small incident here in Sweden. A deaf MP (Greens) politician was seen by an M (Moderates; our righties) politician, while she was "talking" into her phone in a grocery store. Thinking that she had been making up her deafness for patos-reasons, he wrote about it as his facebook status. People commented on it, insulting the Greens and the politician.

In actuality, the woman uses her phone to text her children stuff. When they don't answer, she calls them and when they pick up, she talks to them. Since she's deaf, it's one-sided so they have to text her back.

She found the comments and his status insulting and presumptive of him because he went right ahead and wrote it without having asked her about it.

Anyway, maybe you can one day use a phone the way she uses it?

Look, just get a cheap phone, with texting (if possible email) don't give the number to anyone except co-workers and your aprents, and you're all set to go.
I don't have a mobile phone -I don't need it either for uni or for social life- but it's what i'd do if someone asked me to get one for a job.
A deaf MP (Greens) politician, who is deaf
Maybe that's from the Department of Redundancy Department?

 Oopsie. I often have typos like that in my posts...

Feeling rather depressed tonight for no real reason...

Go outside and take a walk. Get some fresh air. Call some friends up and make plans to do something. Carpe diem

I don't think that would be easy for people that do not know him very well. It can only work for people that do it to their own family members and close friends.

stupid search engines failing me on possible caterpillar identification. Oh well.

Why didn't you insert the caterpillar into the Google bug detector?
