bus system here is ****ed up on weekends.

Example using texas: You need to get from Austin to San Antonio? Ok, we'll take you from Austin to Houston to San Antonio. And there are no other options, from any of the other 3 bus companies.

My "45 minute" bus ride took 4 hours because I had to go through a major city completely out of the way in all circumstances.

I am so glad i have a car! Metro here sucks too. This is why I'm a careful drive now and don't want to risk losing my license.

I would recommend a desktop to run Civ5. Had a bad experience when trying to play graphics intensive games on a laptop.

Another rant i have is newer games dumbing down the game or going radically different with new releases to cater to an untapped market while alienating the old user base.

Final fantasy XIII seems to have done this and now civilization 5. The new expansion for World of Warcraft seems to be doing this also. I really hope this isnt a trend in games to come.

If you ever praised World of Warcraft in the first place, that's a problem. I don't know much about FFXIII and civ5 of course many of us already know, but still... reminds me of one of my old favorite rants, people who are in a small minority of fans of cool stuff but inexplicably love other awful stuff, like "I'm a huge fan of Kurt Vonnegut novels and I also like Twilight"
