My foot is not hurting quite as bad today, but it is still quite uncomfortable to put my full weight on it and I'm still limping and not walking nearly as fast as usual.
I was running a little late this morning, and because of my foot opted to take the bus instead of walk. The bus was labeled red route but after I got on it became clear it was following the course of the blue route, in the opposite direction as my class. When it was almost as far as it could get the driver decided to park the vehicle and get out. I ended up wasting time and then walking further than I would have anyway, and so missed the first half hour of class.
My senior design group had our second meeting with our sponsor, who seemed a little disappointed at how little progress we have made. He is still insisting that he wants us to be creative, and so won't give us any clear instruction as to what we should do. He is a landscape architect rather than a civil engineer, and is basically trying to get us to run the project as a landscape architect would which we have no experience doing. We have a lot of work ahead of us in the next month.
After the meeting my ride back decided to drop me off almost as far from my apartment as is possible without being off of campus or close enough to a bus stop for me to get a shuttle to take me much closer.
Once I got to my building I noticed that my keys were missing, as was my flash drive and the thing holding my student ID, all my cash, credit card, debit card, etc as they were on the same keychain. Thinking back I figured that the last time I saw them was 4 hours earlier in the student center computer lab when I was printing some stuff off my flash drive. (Also, it turns out i did not have to do that, as they just recently got the 64 bit drivers for the central printing station so I could have done that remotely from my laptop.) I walked half way across campus and found that it was not in the machine where I figured I left it. Fortunately, once the girl at the information desk finished a conversation with her boyfriend she looked in the lost and found drawer for me and found them. I was then able to catch a shuttle from there to one block from my apartment.
