edit - ooh actually I had to reinstall my OS not too long ago too and it's painful, yeah. But I've got an external HD and kinda do regular backups these days, a good habit to be into so I could hopefully just restore everything from an image if I ever again came across another problem and had to.

Oh that's definitely worth a rant: the ACT is terrible and its a flaw of the whole Midwest that they tend to use that test much more than the rest of the country. But of course good luck!
