My body is ready.

Today I pulled off my absolutely most epic victory in SW Battlefront 2. Naboo, 1 Clone vs. 32 Droids, 1 CP vs. 5 CPs. Bonuses: Autoturrets vs. Reinforcements (used up).

I killed 13 of them while recapturing CPs 1, 6, 5 and 2 alternatively. Then I managed to maintain the favorable 4 CPs vs. 2 and took CP 3. Then the droids started an attack, but the turrets kept them at bay in 3 while I recaptured the rest. I killed around 20, turrets dealt with some 10, and finally won a victory by conquest when only 2 droids were left.

I have no idea what Aimee or Joan's posts mean:confused:

Me neither. Have another Victoria Bitter to relax before work.

...no, never mind. Go to work sober. Come home, then have some 18-year scotch. Get drunk, PM me more pot-smoking dog links.

Star Wars Battlefront 2, Star Wars themed shooter, with a battlefield in every planet, with boosters and bonuses for battles, 4 factions (in two eras, Republic vs. Separatists and Empire vs. Rebels) and about 8 units per faction, also vehicles and stuff. Each battlefield has 6 Command Posts, evenly split between factions at the beginning of a battle. Both sides start with 150 reinforcements. That is, the faction which inflicts 150 casualties first wins. You can also win by controlling all 6 CPs simultaneously for 20 seconds.

I love these "commando" scenarios when I am left alone against a handful enemies, but I can't recall ever achieving victory against more than a dozen. So I'm a bit euphoric. :D

Both Battlefronts are simply classics. I loved being the last man standing, mounting surprise attacks on the enemy, retreating, and trying to avoid losing all the CPs. :D

Naboo is a honeypot for the enemy in Galactic Conquest every time. They will never, ever stop attacking it until you've captured every nearby planet.

Yeah, but I just fail in Geonosis, Kashyyyk and Dagobah, so poop. I like Naboo, but it gets tiring after a while. :p

Also, I hate droidekas. So killing two or three of them in my Frenzy spree felt great.

In my experience, if left to their own devices the CIS will always beat the Republic and the Rebels will usually beat the Empire. I hate the CIS and love the clones, so it's a good thing that the droidekas aren't the overpowered monsters they were in the first game. Unfortunately my brother made off with our PS2 a long time ago and so I doubt I'll play it again anytime soon.

I think I tend to fail in those situations, though I think I've killed 8 or 10 of them before dying a few times.

At least there's free shipping!

That much for Portal, Wut?

Ya, a good toilet paper is one of those little pleasures of everyday life.

Looking back, I've noticed that my least favorite people and things tend to fade away more quickly than the people and things I like, and a fair amount of my least favorite posters here have gradually left or been banned. It is good to outlive your enemies.
