BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! 100% of my non-CFC family and friends called or posted greetings, 2 dozen people showed for the "surprise" party. I got Neko Case's new album, Superchunk's new album, a new briefcase and I gorged on chocolate ice cream and wasabe peas. I also worked my little butt off and finished two writing projects I had been working on since Friday. HU-A!

Oh, have you been dating?

I've held it off for years now. I didn't date while I was unemployed (getting a job became top priority). Though conditions have changed somewhat to enable me to get back on the dating horse, especially after being employed for three months now. Though the challenge now is how to date when I'm working graveyard shift.

Nice, man!

I was able to maintain some semblance of a social life by sleeping in the mornings and either eating dinner with my family or with friends before working the night shift. On the weekends when you are off, all the fun stuff happens in the evenings anyway. I ended up doing all my errands in the mornings after work when the lines were short.
