My friend said she would bring her video camera. So that's covered.

What kind of music do you play?

Currently, we've been working on some covers of "Stars" by Switchfoot, "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas, and "Restless" by Needtobreathe. We also do something that we call "Ten Bar Blues" where, one guitarist plays 12 bar blues and the other solos, then they switch and the one does 8 bar blues and the other solos.
But tomorrow we're going to be bringing together music that we've written, and trying to see which ones we like the best and try to work on them the next few weeks.

Overall, I would say we play alternative rock with a slight leaning to the progressive side of things (lots of times where we'll just jam for 10 minutes straight nonstop).

You also have a bit of Christian Rock going there, although I'd say Switchfoot and Needtobreathe are somewhere between Christian and Alternative.

Yeah, they're a bit of an influence. All of us like Switchfoot a lot, and half of us like Needtobreathe a lot. And I would agree with you on Switchfoot and Needtobreathe being in between the genres. They seem to be walking that line just fine.

We have at times delved into some heavy and death metal. Heh, one time we delved into polka metal.

Believe it or not, there is a Christian version of black metal out there called white metal. Also known as unblack metal.

My musical tastes have pulled away from loudness and more towards intricacy in the past few months. Basically classical music, jazz, and more developed rock music from bands like Queen. No offense to anybody.

It's usually accompanied with Resurrection Metal.
