Random Raves!

Happy for you leonel. :)

Well I guess it is to be expected. I tend to get overly paranoid and frantic about stuff like this all the time. A few weeks ago, I was terrified that I had multiple sclerosis despite the fact that I was born in an extremely low risk region of the world, I don't have a Vitamin D deficiency and I'm past the age range in which it occurs the most. Gotta learn how to not be so paranoid about stuff.

I know it was yesterday, I'm just celebrating for the fact the school board decided to give us the day off.

Yeah, that was directed at your school board. Back in my day, I had to walk ten miles to school and we didn't get no day after Veterans' Day off! Uphill both ways! In da snow! In July! :old:

Barefoot of course. And over rivers of broken glass and hot coals.

I WOULD LIKE TO PROTEST THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT NOT GIVING US VETERAN'S DAY OFF.

They gave us off a day to remember, and closed the banks the day after, but the Veterans get nothing. EVEN FAMILIES get a day, but veterans have to share theirs with memory. Jeez.

Hot coals on slippery ice, of course.

Worst. Rave. Ever.

And I must rave about the possibility of a course coming in the spring that may be exceptionally useful.

FIN 359 - Principles of Fixed Instruments and Markets

Oh, and I finally got to register around 9:30 AM (was supposed to be 12:01 AM) this morning. Had to miss my first class to do it, but oh well.

there's a 45% chance that I may get a dinner that doesn't completely suck

Fine, you want a rave in the rave thread?

Family day. A day off from work/school/everything, that I have no intention of spending with my family at all. Its essentially a free day for the sake of days off. And I see my family quite enough to have to decide which side of the family to see on family day and start a fight with the other side.

Man, everyone had a day off today.

And I get to spend mine tomorrow at the DMV, possibly. Why, God?

God doesn't like you Northern heathens. :) I'm kidding, I'm kidding

I might have a rave tomorrow. It'll either be a huge RAVE, or a depressing RANT.

While Georgians pray to God for water, I pray for a decent midterm grade...

For about the past two months I've been on a roll. I cannot really explain, but my mind has been opened up to new experiences and sensations that I couldn't before imagine.

In all honesty, the best day of my life has been every day since late September. Everyday you see me, that is the best day of my life. No religious experience here, just something has ticked inside of me. I'm always smiling now, laughing, a far cry from three or four months ago. I cannot say why or how but I hope it continues on.

:)

Mmmmmm-hmmmmmm.....sure you are. :p

And I need to pat Godwynn's head or drink from his cup or something for that to rub off on me. It's been one obstacle after another here.

Kentucky, born 'n raised. The only state to seceed from the Union after the South lost the war. :)

My heart's in Chicago, though. The University, not the city.

And congrats on having a few good weeks. I know how that can cheer up a person.

I thought you said you with long hair were better-looking? :hmm:

That's true. I didn't get it cut at all. :)

before/after pics?

I don't have any right now... :( In any case, it's not really "new" it's just that my hair grew back to the length I used to have it a while ago. With a bit of attention given to it that day, it looked like a whole new thing. :)

I'm going to Puerto Rico this July with my church. Beautiful island. I've always wanted to visit.
