You know this is going to be quoted against you endlessly henceforth, right?
And I will have to defend myself against it every time.

"This is one of the 5% of times I'm being serious!"

Keeping myself from making nonsensical, trollish posts isn't easy. I realized I have nothing of value to add on about 95% of the active threads.
Why do you think I mostly post on the Colosseum?

I had such a bizarre dream last night. In it, I was in surgery for some reason, and after the doctors wheeled me in, they amputated my head. While I was still conscious. My only reaction was a rather flat "oh, there goes my head" as they took it away on a stretcher.

I'm curious. Was your consciousness left there with the body or did it follow your head?

It stayed with the body. Which makes no sense in hindsight because I was watching them take my head away...but my eyes are in that same head. Yay, dream logic!

It's as with those dreams people have where elevators can only move sideways.

It's just as well that they took your head away, otherwise you would have been quite beside yourself.

Then you end up in the grocery store to get a USB hair dryer to feed your x-box but you notice you have no shirt or shoes on and you forgot your wallet so you have to collect gnomes to barter with....
It's amazing how it all makes perfect sense at the time...

Sounds like your typical Ljn game. Is that how they came up with ideas?

Probably, Either a pen and notepad beside their bed every night or a mixture assorted mind altering psychedelic drugs before each brainstorming session.

Have you never watched the original Star Trek? The turbolift does move sideways (in addition to up and down).
I do not like Star Trek. Except Voyager and maybe Deep Space Nine.

Does Star Trek explain how their spaceship interiors operate with 1G instead of weightlessness?

Not really explain, but they have some technobabbly gravity generators.

It's ultratech - TL 12^, as GURPS would term it. :)

Yeah, but that's because hunans in Babylon 5 are still newcomers to this whole space thing. More advanced races have magic artificial gravity and by the end of the series humans also have access to the technology.
