Are you saying that only Catholics have a culture?

Well, and Jews.
And Penguins! Because penguins are awesome!

That's cute, but completely impossible unless somebody flew an Adélie penguin up north to chase a polar bear (which would result in the polar bear having the penguin for a mid-morning snack).

Would it though? I was under the impression animals are actually quite discriminatory with what they attack/eat and don't attack/eat something unless they know what it is or is close to something they know.
Like the bear sees the penguin and things: weird smell, weird shape, weird sound, not going to eat that. Who knows if it is poisonous or has hidden spikes?

"It's about the size of some seals, swims in the ocean and spends a lot of time on land, maybe it's a new kind of seal. Lunch time!"

The Penguin Place has sent me another 20% discount code. I am not going to use it. I told them I want a plush Adelie (like the penguin in the .gif) and they don't have any.

@Ajidica Bears are one of the few predators that don't discriminate.

Bears have even more impressive digestive abilities than humans (and we can live on anything) and eat a huge variety of foods. They will attack and kill anything they can catch and will eat rotting, months old carcasses. They tear up entire hillsides to get at roots and devour fruits like no one's business. If it fits in their maw, it goes in. They have to learn which animals not to attack from their mothers and there are only a few like skunks or porcupines they won't regularly attack. Though they'll sometimes think themselves invincible and try.

Edit: I'm only talking about polar and brown bears. North American black bears are much more cautious and less capable (though still formidable) predators. I know next to nothing about asian/african bears.

My cat is ridiculously fickle. Most of the time she completely ignores me (unless she wants food or water) but then she follows me around the house....only to ignore me some more.

She just spent 15 minutes scratching at the bathroom door while I was inside, taking a bath. Finally, I got out of the tub to open the door. She stared at me for two seconds and then headed back to my bedroom.

So I copied one of my Characters to the World of Warcraft Public Test Realm. Moved my camera and was confused that somehow it felt so... different. So nice... to the eye. Checked all the graphical settings, compared them to the live servers, everything was the same.

Or so I thought, but shortly after I found the difference - for some reason, my live version of the game has the 30fps-limiter on. I guess I turned that on when my PC was going wild sometime in the past, and then forgot about it. Never noticed it, until I actually played in 60 fps again.

This experience just convinced me once again that 60 fps are so massively superior to 30 fps, and chances are that anybody who argues otherwise is probably just an IGNORANT FOOL who does not know what they're missing because they lack the direct comparison!

But there is no light without darkness.

She was just checking up on you. It means you're on her radar as someone she cares about. You were obviously present and accounted for, so no problem.

Or maybe your cat just wants to know what's happening on the other side of a closed door. After she satisfies her curiosity, she just goes on to wherever her next thought takes her.

I still don't know where to post this stuff, maybe we really need a "random"-thread, but for the time being:

Random thought: the signature of the user formerly known as Ryika proves that user to be a Trump supporter.

And I like Erika's smiley.

That's an interesting interpretation. I didn't even think about it that way, but I like the double meaning.
