That has to be a joke, right?

That would be a fair explanation if there were at least SOME modern-day music that I like, but aside from a few German rappers who's music I mostly like for how vulgar their texts are and not so much for the music itself, I don't ever find anything that really hooks me.

Although, I guess that's not quite fair either, I did find some artists I enjoy in recent months, but that's usually stuff that I usually didn't ever listen to (The Qemists, Nightclub). Maybe I just don't enjoy the stuff that's mainstream right now.

I'm a cranky old man myelf, but there is a lot of good music that came out his decade. Granted, my musical preferences are quite specific and I mostly listen to metal. That genre has evolved a lot and makes for a decent example, but I assume there are similar developments in other styles like rap, EDM or whatever...

Some great subgenres (melodic death) have faded and some great old bands have dissolved or become a bit crap (In Flames), but other subgenres have sprung up. We're now living in a golden age of folk metal. The style is fresh enough to not be derivative/boring and mature enough to have many really well crafted songs/bands.

While it seems likely that it was a joke there is certainly the possibility that it isn't. Knowing nothing about the person making the comment there is no way to be sure.

There is a local saying, which would translate to "(he is) more of a royalist than even the king himself".

Meaning how people can end up supporting stuff which isn't set up for their gain, cause they are viewed as just cogs anyway. But still may be enthusiastic enough.
More popish than the Pope, I've heard in Spanish.
Recently the opinion goes more into the direction that you rather should keep one long and safe password and not change it. Because frequent changes will result in people picking shorter and easier to guess passwords.
That has always been my dilemma - change often and have to write them down, or not change a longish password and hope nobody ever hacks it.

I think we need to educate you.

Given Ryika's country, they'd probably be very keen for a reeducation camp. :mischief:

^I know the words of that song by heart so that's a good starting point.

Oh no, it's clear that Ryika hasn't been educated to begin with, so we have to educate her first.

Technically, so are you.

I hear that I am as well, though it had to do with bacon rather than music.

I fail to see how that affects the question of your barbarousness.

What's a Grecian urn? About 50 Euro a week.

I think the people who say that old music is way better than current days music just have to explore more music ^^. I always can fi.d something interesting on youtube.

Md5 is usually just used as a file checksum though not a security algorithm.

You'd hope so, but seems more common than you think. The old vBulletin (on which the forum ran) was using md5. Hopefully that whole issue will change in the coming years though.

In Kyriakos' case, he's said that he'd like that amount per lecture. ;)
It would have to be a lecture of Wagnerian proportions to be worth that much!
