Modern browsers are a blessing. Don't know how I missed it for this long, but Firefox's built-in screenshot functionality that can be accessed easily via the right-click context menu is just amazing. Being able to snap any part of a website with two clicks or so is SO much easier than taking a full screenshot, cutting it down and then saving it again.

snip tool though

or gyazo

or if you're on mac there's an additional screenshot hotkey that lets you crop it before you take the screenshot, i believe it's cmd-shift-4

Yeah, but in Firefox it's literally...

*Click Menu Option*
*Mouseover the UI Element you want to take a screenshot of*
*Maybe move the mouse a bit to get the right one*
*Take Screenshot*
*Done!*

That's... 2 seconds and you have a perfectly cropped partial screenshot!

Muslim Lolita Fashion is a new trend inspired by Japan

Not quite a "new trend", as it's a 3 years old article, but I guess it's good that I have only found it now. Because three years ago, this would have really confused me. "How is it that she has to wear the hijab, but she can wear and present the rest of her outfit without being beaten to death by her father?!" I would have thought, but these days I understand that many young Muslim girls have decided to wear the hijab as a fashion item.

Still, looks pretty terrible if you ask me. Aside from the fact that they're just not very "cute", the hijab destroys the whole esthetic.

boredpanda.com… are you trying to channel Erika now?

hmm, i have to agree, the hijab destroys the outfit coherency

I am very much a victim of tsundoku. Cool term, though.

Sounds like steamsummersaledoku, just for nerds.

Same here. I fully intend to read every book that comes into my home.

Problem is, I don't read as much or as fast as I used to, and frequently get sidetracked by the fanfiction sites. So if I were to read a book a day of the books I own that I haven't read before, it would take years to get through them all.

And most of them are too long to be read in one day. I've been working on my current book in the Outlander series for the last 2-3 months, maybe more (don't recall when I started it). But in the meantime I've re-read some shorter stuff, like the entire Henry Reed series.

I'm getting better about buying mountains of books, though. The last time I looked in on one of the library sales, I only bought one book.

It was pretty big, though. It won't fit on most of the shelves.

I slept a total of 3 hours yesterday. Now it's almost 5am and again I'm not the least bit tired.

I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with me, but it's probably just the heat. At the same time, I'm astonishingly productive given how warm it is.

No, no, she's just that much into impersonating Lohren-san.

Do you find yourself with flight of ideas, or rapid, pressured speech? Sexual indiscretions or spending sprees? Those are signs of mania, as is a ruptured sleep pattern.
Dr Lemon to the rescue! :)

On the other hand, aren't we supposed to avoid giving medical advice and diagnoses on the forum, even from the RL professionals?

I have some of the same symptoms, but in my case it's just that this is summer and I don't do much of anything well this time of year. Certainly not sleep.

Well, I know that non-professionals certainly aren't supposed to.

A mixed blessing is coming up: The parking lot here is finally going to have much-needed maintenance, which will help (there are a lot of potholes). The downside is six weeks of dust, noise, and being unable to open the windows. In the middle of summer.
