Joined a new forum. Already recognized three people from here on there.
I ran across someone the other day on the NaNoWriMo forums who posts on TrekBBS. She wrote the only Enterprise fanfic I ever liked, because it was from the point of view of Porthos (Archer's dog).

I know. Queen of Darkness FTW.

Trek BBBBBBBBBBS.
Hm. I know who two of us are, among the active posters, and there's one more who hasn't been active for a long time.

Now I am curious.

But your avatar indicates that you are a teenaged girl.
The character of Takhisis in the Dragonlance game can take any form she wants.

Our Takhisis' current avatar is wearing considerably more clothing than some depictions of the Dragonlance character (especially if the artist is Larry Elmore).

Elmore art ftw.

Also Easley.

Queen of Darkness is LE and has her own knights.

Why don't they add something to deadly anti-freeze so it tastes like crap instead of very sweet? :hmm:
This seems like such a good idea that I had to give this some serious thought. I have arrived at a plausible answer.

To get the balance of high boiling point, low freezing point, not corrosive that is required is probably a pretty delicate trick, and no one has figured out something that tastes bad, will dissolve, and can be added in sufficient quantity without screwing it up.

I'm in full agreement.

One year I decided to take some inspiration from Elmore when designing my science fiction convention costume. Elmore always paints mage characters as having a variety of interesting little accessories attached to their belts, like feathers and little pouches full of spell components.

My dad found a few magpie feathers in the back yard, and I'd already accumulated a collection of interesting pouches - you do that in the SCA, since you're supposed to hide as much of your modern self as possible but you still need to take things like wallets, keys, writing materials, medication, etc. with you. Add a few odd bits of costume jewelry here and there, and I had an Elmore-type costume (I had more coverage, though; had to, since the basic long black dress and cloak were also the ones I wore in the SCA, just with different accessories).

4.4 earthquake @ 20:30. I guessed it was a 3.0. :dunno:

I'm on the round island just north of the epicenter, about 1/2 way along the southern coast..

So, uh, does the "over-60s must stay indoors" rule still apply if your house falls down? :scared:
