If you eat your lunch on a beach, your sandwich will have sand in it, even if you never set it down. What about those who insist that a sandwich has to be made out of sand?
St. Elsewhere did it!That's a greater-scope thing.
Like the ending of the Men In Black film, where it's revealed that our (observable) universe is just some sort of extradimensional alien child's toy.
What about those who insist that a sandwich has to be made out of sand?
I'm a member of Robert Silverberg's email group and last year he said that he feels like he's in the middle of one of his own dystopian science fiction novels (his career spans over 60 years and he's in his 80s now... still making a list of places he'd like to travel when the pandemic is over). Some days I feel like I'm in some sort of elaborate computer simulation which is being watched from the outside by my wife.. and when it's all over and I take off the VR headset, she is going to start yelling at me for not figuring out that we were meant to be.. and for all the little things I have been doing wrong.
I've never even been married, which makes days like this even more annoying.
I've seen the movie, and I've been on dating apps, and I can't see the connection lol?
He finds their lack of taste… disturbing. Sand gets everywhere. We call those "people at the top of Darth Vader's very extensive must-be-murdered list"

This poem perfectly sums up my views toward a couple of UCP sycophants on my MLA's FB page.@Drakle tagging you because this ties into my tirade-tiredness from the other thread. I wrote a poem as a preemptive generic reply while I am enjoying my lunch. (Lunch is good!)
Yak yak yakI don't care what you think

Gab gab gabGuess what, I don't care

Ding ding dingAnd now, goodbye
Thanks for the reminder! There are so many memes floating around now.
That Star Trek episode about the Darmok isn't silly anymore.
A whole civilization that talks using nothing except memes and culture references is irritating!
