Watching youtube videos on 1/2 speed makes people sound really drunk

This is a "fortified inn" ( :o ), from a Warhammer Fantasy prototype.

It is nowhere near completion, but I started it (edit, updated :p ) two days ago...

One could say that 40K orks are the only being which can reach something infinitely far away, by (faith in) an array of multiplications. They press trash together and when they believe it forms a machine, it does.
It is a utopian externalization of animism.

And red makes it go faster.

I have created a thread for some building art of mine, here.

I would like feedback, thoughts for improving the gfx etc :)

Here is what the buildings look like (first work in progress)

(it's the Hagia Sophia of Thessalonike)

So, don't be shy if you have something to suggest, see you there :)

Today a second article of mine was published in the printed Syrizopaper.
There won't be a third, because they suck and only care about low political stuff.

The article was about the evil djin, from 1001 Nights, and how people tend to forget that victimizers also start often as victims. The newspaper's editor said that she felt this is justifying groups, and mentioned golden dawn.
/facepalm

These people are just dumb and have zero ties to culture :)

Silk! amadeus, as a foreigner allowed to reside in Japan and conduct commercial activities, could you arrange for this nanban The_J-san to import silks and sake through the valid outlet at Kyūshū?

So would it be more appropriate to offer congratulations or condolences?

I guess if it made you any money, congratulations are in order, but condolences on the cultural illiteracy of the editor.

Or in other words, kinda like how screechy right-wing supporters rant about The Handmaid's Tale, insisting it's a smear job of Trump, even though Margaret Atwood wrote it in 1984 and it was published in 1985 in a country where relatively few people had even heard of Donald Trump in the mid-'80s and those who did really couldn't be bothered to care.

I sometimes use this as a random experiences thread (since there isn't one of those).

My computer crashed. When I fired it up again it went into a diagnostic screen, the last line of which said "press any key to exit"

So I pressed the enter key.

You think about experiences, don't you? ;)

Did your solution work?

Okay, I'm looking right now for possible future employers, so I checked this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Multinational_companies_headquartered_in_the_Netherlands
I have to say while listening the Dutch East and West India Company is probably technically true, it was not exactly what I was looking for.

Nonsense. The market is good for nutmeg and silk, and the pay is 10 silver florins a fortnight.

TBH, as I'm a white male (not yet old), and have been playing Civ a lot, a position at a company which will allow me to exploit foreign minorities would actually be very suitable . I might consider the silk trade .

There was a video on my youtube feed (haven't yet watched it), which presented a simple but very cool (potentially useful) idea. A tower made of spheres, with each next sphere being of a radius that is larger than just half the one of the previous sphere. This (I guess, like I said I did not watch it) would allow the tower of spheres (infinite in number) to still have infinite height (divergent series), but specific volume (convergent).
In effect making one number have more than one values. This is similar to Godel's trick with symbols (such as letters) being also automatically identified as numbers.
