Realpolitik CIV - An Interactive AAR

Arya has a good point. We would be benefited if we combined the two projects. Of course, we must make sure that said scientists are loyal to us first...

That's what I'm worried about. While these scientists could provide some benefit, they would also constitute some major risks in holding them/getting them to cooperate. Now, we could go and steal any research information the Russians and Vikings have there. This would, however, require the liberal use of fire in order to remove any evidence of the operation.

Also, I'm on chat right now, in anyone is interested.

I say we kidnap the Viking Scientists and put their research towards us.
I say we determine how much the group of independent scientists have done and then base our decision on that.

I really like Arya's idea of combing the research projects together. However first we should send our own scientists to see if they can be combined. (what if one is improving naval capabilities and the other is inventing a stronger type of gun. They couldn't be combined)

We always could just kidnap a handful and seperate them so they'll be more inclined to cooperate.

And we should kidnap, seize the information and then burn the whole place down. Of course our men will have to go in disguise...

Maybe try and secure some russian army uniforms so infiltrating it is easier.

I suggest we fund the scientists research.

As for the secret lab, I think perhaps we should use the Ukrainians, with Nordic and Russian weapons (we probably still have some, the same we are shipping to the Mongols). We use the Night Eagles have them lead a band of Ukranians and steal the research and destroy the facility. We give the Ukrainians a copy of the stolen research in exchange for their services. This way, we destroy the facility, get their research, and help start(?) an insurgency in Russia, which is sure to occupy their attention.

Might as well fund the scientists...

Since the Lighthearter himself [] invited me to Realpolitick, I though I should join. And as I look through the Parties list, I found that there weren’t enough war parties. That’s about to change with...

THE INSANELY MAD WARMONGERS' PARTY!!!!!
:ar15:
:sniper:
:spear: :ninja::ninja::ninja::spear:

We believe that England should conquer the world! We need to destroy all enemies in our way! Of course, we need a good economy to support our army, so we support a good economy. And we need science to get Modern Tanks, which are awesome, so we support science as well. But most of all we want to destroy and conquer! EXTERMINATE!!! :mwaha:

Since I still haven’t decided which coalition to join, I want each coalition to convince me that they want to destroy and conquer as well!

And I think we should trust the spy person and blow up the base with Scandinavian weapons and we should accept the scientist’s call for funding.

:D

Sigh. Just because there are no war parties doesnt mean there is no talk of war.

WONDERFUL!!:D:D:goodjob: Even though Imperial is a war party - well, it hasn't really been warmongering of late.

Well, lacking an army/strong economy may have played a role in that. Don't worry, the reckoning is coming....

Good to meet you, NinjaCow64. I believe that the Imperial Party and the IMWP will get along just well, considering that your party stances are nearly identical. Imperial's goal is to dominate the world, but until now, England has been too weak to make that feasible. However, thanks to our leadership, England is now a regional power, poised to rise to dominance once the Vikings/Russians are dealt with. We invite your support in this endeavor.

Guns and Money. That's the ticket.

War Party? Well this'll make things interesting.

Lighthearter, will the scientists be played in turnset or seperateley?

We have to show trust somewhere. If they are scamming us, we can put them on trial for fraud.

And do what? If they are supporters of our enemies, they shall not mind. Trust is not what we need ATM. We need to show the world that we are powerful, not that we are gullible idiots.

:agree: (with MN)
This could make or break England and PCE doesn't want to risk it. Most if not all of Aegis II supports me on this.

@Aysee: As the economic minister I refuse to support any Scientist who cannot back up his findings and would rather keep them secret. England currently has a partial regulation on all research and they don't qualify as English scientists. They have no line of credibility and refuse to back any progress they have made so far AND not only do they refuse to show how far along they are, but they refuse to work in government funded facilities. If they want to become Britannian scientists, then they can work at one of the many science facilities (specifically libraries), spread throughout the country. If they cannot qualify to work in one of them, then it means they are not truly qualified scientists to England and we have no reason to fund them.

Ilduce shut your french front door for a second. They havent refused to do anything. There has been no response so far. Stop making up stuff. They (OOC: LH) have not responded to our inquiries. Also, people can be english scientists without working for the government. They dont have to work in a library either. They can work from home if thats where they can get their work done. But be aware nobody has offered them government facilities, let alone funds yet.

All you are doing is making up stuff that you are using as facts. Please prove that LH has verified any of this stuff. PROVE.

Recently it has been revealed by one of the scientists that they don't want to take the risk of anyone knowing their research because they fear what might occur if it fell into Alliance hands - what does everyone think of this new development? They still remain tight-lipped, though they have hinted that assassins have tried to stop them.

Read: LH doesn't like our new ideas. :p

Wait - What is there to lose if we accept their offer and we find out they are frauds? Nothing, I presume... :crazyeye:
