Ok, First of all, i never claimed that Hizballah was less dependant from Syria and Iran than Israel from the USA, to the question of "Whom should bear the costs of rebuilding Lebanon" i said: "The USA, they are the Masters of Israel and they should pay for the damages it caused"
Anyway, while you might reason that if you look at this year's budget percentually Israel is less dependant on the US than Hizballah on Syria and Iran you seem to convinently forget that Israel was carved out of palestinian lands with Weapon that were given or stolen from the USA and that it was only due to American intervention (For example Operation Nickel Grass) and Patronage (For example the +80Billion worth of equipment that the USA gave Israel) throughout the decades Israel was allowed to become what it is today and to do what they do today withouth grave consequenses.
So once again i reaffirm my initial statement that the Usa is the Master of Israel and should pay for the damages that Israel causes, not that i for a second belive that the USA will do it, as usual the remainder of the International Comunity will have to fix the mess certain states leave behind.
Ain't that the truth ... I for one taxpayer get sick and tired of every one standing around with their hand out. It's your country, you fix it. We're already flipping the bill to get all those people out of Lebanon, even after there have been 5 State Department warnings saying "don't go there" There is a law on the books that said if you end up in a war zone, we'll come get you but you got to pay for it. I say Pay up sucker.
We (The USA) do not control Israel, they are not a puppet on a string. They make their choice, we don't make them for them. So I say Hizoallah should pay they started it.
A joint fund by Israel, the US, and the Arab League.
Israel because rebuilding a country makes people look at you more kindly. the US because it's necessary for Mideast stability, the Arab League because it's a duty in their religion to provide charity, and they can score points with their Arab brethren.
