IG, you do know that the PoD is WWII, right? Every living survivor of the ACW would be dead by now (Seeing how its the 70s by now, Y/N?). Besides, most of the fallen CSA members fled to Brazil (I can't find a source, but I read that in a book somewhere).

In a net response to everyone, damn, my bad. At no point in the OP was there any mention of a specific PoD or specific guidelines for creating your nation. I had just assumed it was a "make whatever you want" sorta thing like other games I've played. It's not as if some of the nations here make any sense. Maybe a little summary in the OP, along iwth an up-to-date map would help with that.

So then could someone then please summarize the PoD and current TL so I can create a more suitable nation? I didn't realize you guys were so serious about the realism factor here. It is roleplaying.

His nation is silly because most of the soldiers from the Civil War would be dead or very old by now. Most likely dead due to the inferior medicine.

However, I'd be totally fine with it if they were the descendants of the Confederates.
