I'm sure the police only have photos of convicted criminals, and not those considered to be "troublemakers"...

Well I'd be rather happy if they went after only the convicted criminals. But I don't see why they can't use public Facebook profiles to match faces to people.

It is interesting how nearly all the photos are of blacks and other minorities.

Well, the areas that rioted were areas in which blacks in particular make up a large (I won't say majority as I don't know the stats) proportion of the population. However, even then, it's not like there are no white people or white gangs in those areas; I'm surprised that there are so few pictures of young white men on that blog. I mean, I went through 5 pages and saw only a handful of white faces among them; you walk down those streets that rioted in daytime and you see wayyyy more young white men in hoodies than you see in those pictures.
