It's sad cause I liked both Tom Petty and aimee. Though I'm I'm sure aimee is alive and well. Not being on CFC anymore is a failsafe sign that life has improved is it not?

Always been a fan. He's not exactly a heavy rocker who can pump you up. But he's had so many hits with nice catchy, rockin' beats.

It was interesting in the morning paper, it reported that Tom Petty was hanging on by a thread despite reports by other services of his demise.

I guess they went to press a bit early that night.

It was the nature of the situation. He was 'alive' but everything surrounding his medical management all but guaranteed that it wouldn't last (due to life support being pulled). He was brain dead upon arrival to the hospital IIRC.
