[R&F] Rise and Fall Screenshot discussion

Actually that fish farm HAS to be a new improvement! Regular fishing boats are also visible in the same screenshot.

I believe the tile with the Ferris wheel on the water is likely an Entertainment Complex. Look at the colourings, they match with the Entertainment Complex in the game at the moment. If you ask me, this is either a new unique District for a specific civ or leader, or this is a new feature which allows some Districts to be placed in the water.

I personally hope it’s the latter. We already know there will be a bunch of new buildings coming with this expansion, and I imagine some of these will only be available for Districts built on the water. So for example, maybe instead of building a Stadium, you can build a Ferris wheel, which provides different bonuses.

I was hoping for something like this. Maybe we can even build an Observatory in a Campus next to a mountain, or a Conservatory in a Campus next to rainforest.

If that arch is indeed Delicate Arch in Utah and we know that wonders and natural wonders are tied to the civilizations added to the game, which Native American civilization would most closely be associated with Delicate Arch?

Navajo, Shoshone, Pueblo, and perhaps the Apache are all regionally (Utah/Southwest) relevant cultures that are generally well-known. My money would be on the Navajo.

Don't forget the Utes.

There is also another purple thingy in the background of the Russia screenshots. Looks more like a neighborhood with purple roofs. Is it possibly the same as the purple district I dubbed Forum in upgraded form? Would imply a new mechanism to upgrade districts.
Some districts change looks through the eras to become more modern looking though.

And Archivo General de Indias is the European wonder.

The wonder could even give you a free governor for new cities found on a different continent (or some kind of similar (but not op'd) mechanic), to make it a good colonial wonder in the game.

I'm guessing the purple "forum" district generates Loyalty

  • Likely it gets an adjacency bonus for City-Centers, Markets, and possibly Wonders
  • Maybe one of its buildings adds directly to the Era score in order to increase the likelihood of Golden and Heroic Ages
  • Maybe that big building is a Governor's Mansion, allowing Governors to stationed there to level up faster

Probably not, it would mean two national wonders from Utah (and the new national wonder in Utah probably also means no Grand Canyon, but I already thought that was a hard wonder to implement in the game). I think it's something Eastern European, but i'm not sure what. Some kind of "dark red forest", but i don't know it myself either.

Looks like it includes a town hall as second building. I think the temple like structure may be the first. Maybe a basilica or a senate? A bit off from the looks, but would fit as a first building.

Maybe a generic Park district that’s just happens to based on Washington Square?

The pcgamesn video says that one of the governor gives unique tile improvements, like fisheries and city parks. I wouldn't be surprised if the pier and the arctic research station would be similar "governor tile improvements" or whatever they're calling them.

Anyone noted the new "military" looking truck in the bottom left of this pic yet?
