@ Blitz, it is not.

46 year old Scientist still studying for retirement!

@ Blitz, it is not.
Okay. But it really is.
Civilization Fanatics' Forums > CIVILIZATION IV > Civ4 - Strategy & Tips > RL Question: How old...

Not that it matters. But my question is valid.

Haha so Madscientist is actually a scientist. Seems too convenient.

25 year old medical researcher myself. Also still studying... but does that ever actually stop?

Turning 25 this year which seems to be the median here. I have studied economics and now I work on finance sector.

Nice bump, my fellow New Yorker.

My answer to this is Post 208 back on Page 11.

Nothing's changed, just another year older. :)

I don't post much in here, but I do a lot of reading here. I'm 26, and you can add me to the rather large group of physicists here. I work in medical physics, playing with medical linear accelerators.

My earliest memory of Civ is actually the 80's board game (from the UK I think) that my dad had. I think I played it once or twice, or at least watched while dad played. Then several months ago I saw the case for Sid's Civ4 lying around at my bf's place and picked it up, immediately thinking back to the board game. My bf taught me the basics, and I picked up a whole lot more here, and I'm completely hooked. Sometimes I wonder if he regrets showing me the game - "just one more turn..."

And like any good daughter, I bought Civ4 with all the expansions for my dad this past Father's Day. Apparently he hasn't touched any other computer game since.

High school FTW! Good luck to all taking the SATs on October 10! I'm aiming for 700 math, 650 reading, and 600 writing. Hope I won't do too bad...:p

27, Biochemist taking a chemistry degree ( :crazyeye: ) ,currently working at the post office to pay the chemistry degree ( life sometimes is not so kind on us :( )

EDIT: I entered in the Sid's world in 98 with SMAC, thanks to my roomates . In civ, just with civ III ( I still prefer SMAC to Civ III, but it's only my opinion :p )

Odd, I'm a biochemist taking a chemist degree (though I'm actually using my current degree to make money).

Dang, I'm still 15... though now I'm a High School Sophomore! I can finally rip on Freshmen for being Freshmen! (Though I don't have much to say now that I can be called Sophomoric by the Juniors :p).

20, studying economics.
I already played civ2 as a very young fellow cheating every game. :D
Than playing civ3 with quite a passion but not before civ4 I really got into the whole civ series.
But what I really hate is the fact that it seems to be impossible to find someone I personally know and who shares this passion. :( Is there anybody out there in Saxony? Get in touch know :goodjob:

There's a writing section on the SATs? I think I can say I got a 1600, but I took the damn thing every year from 7th grade and got a 800 math one year and a 800 verbal another year. Least they reported the two 800s to all my colleges.

I'm 30, a venture capitalist you could say in China. Love the food, really love the food.

I played the first civ, then "bought" this one on the street a year ago in china for fifty cents to practice my Chinese. Was slow going until I got back to the US and bought the English version which I never should have done :)
