Should school be mandatory?

It should be mandatory up until 10th grade (age: 16)

After that, the student decides if he wants to finish his last two years of high school.

Considering how people are talking about withdrawing from certain classes, why not go all the way and ask if school should be mandatory?

I could be mistaken, but I thought school is mandatory. (Anyone can flunk ofcourse - your choice.)
