I would be fine with a RCT4 even if EA did publish it, provided they had no development input. That's the problem with all of these big publishers, most of them can't develop good games when they get too involved.

I think the only requirement to join steamgifts is to have a steam account with at least $100 worth of games on it. Apart from that, I set a $0.01 min feedback requirement so to enter you'd have to have given away at least one game (can be a cheap bundled game). Anyway, I'll most likely share the link in one more place, so it won't be a civfanatics-only one after that.

Gosh darn it, I've already owned SimCity 4 for 10 years! My CD and CD case are still in pristine condition!


But anyhow I do highly recommend anyone who doesn't have SimCity 4 get it. It has aged so well, and personally I'd say it's still worth the new SimCity's $60-80 price today.

I think it lasts only this weekend.
