Single Player bugs and crashes - After the 24th of February 2014

I gave you and example in post 1235, the names have to be the same, or you get errors in the audio files.

Ok I study these posts and still dont know why thest two tags should got same name?
SoundID and ScriptID are two different tags and not need the same name.
Error where? In game? I tested game and everything is ok.

No its not ok ingame, the sounds do not work, see more info i wrote in the above post. . . .

If you need more info or what ever, if your going to do it, then pls post in the Help Wanted thread, thx.

I testes these sound and works perfectly as before changes. I know that diplo music can be set according to era in leaderheads files but I presume they old setting is ok.
 
Strange, I don't think we have started on the units or buildings yet. I haven't.

Most of the text errors I've seen lately are connected to unit class, and theres a lot of buildings that give this and that to different unit classes. TB is probably on it though.

Original of this picture was pixelated and to removing pixels Im used some filters from Photoshop. I know that some leaderheads looks weird but unitil some1 find better resolution of these images they stay what they are.

I think a lot of them were introduced here.

At first I was like :confused: then I remembered I missed a step in adding new files from the fileset to the SVN. Sorry... taken care of now.


So that's fixed and doing a quick lookthrough:
@SO: the Hero Narbona is missing his text reference. I'd take care of it but I'd just call him Narbona and these usually have longer names than their XML tag name.

Yes i have asked 3 times now for someone to look at it, because i cant find anything wrong,

I vaguely remember seeing that two of the heroes game text TEXT_KEY definitions had lower case characters in that text file tag. I think Narbona was one. It probably needs to be all uppercase.

As stated, the txt reference was fixed (it was the difference between the word LEADER and UNIT being used between the reference tag type name and the call to the reference.)

It's just the pedia page... not sure where it's breaking down but I suspect its something missing or misdefined in the unit art somewhere.
 
A new promotion called "Sea Hunter" has appeared, it is not needed and not coded in the Python. The Animal Hunter promotion is sufficient. The only purpose of this promotion is to allow your units to bet more than the max exp from combating animal units. There is one global define for the max exp you can get from barbarians and another for animals. There fore there only needs to be one promotion to allow you to get more than the max from barbarians and another for animals. There is no need for the Sea one.

Are you sure you're not just seeing the Sea Hunter promotions that work like the Hunter promotions but only for Seafaring units? I just tweaked the Hunter promotions so they couldn't be given to Sea domain units and the Sea Hunter promotions so they couldn't be given to land units (and neither to air.)

The only other way a Sea Hunter promotion that would work like the Animal Hunter promo would've emerged from my work would've been the sorting of the text references but text references don't generally stop a promo from showing up that was already there.
 
No I am getting two of the bear icons as available promotions. The one which is used for the go over max exp fighting animals but they have different names. I'll try and hunt it down later.
 
I should've clarified more. Wetland Combat, Rugged Combat, Fieldsman lines are the promotions which have the problem.

Updated information for this :

Wetland Combat line : Double movement works for Muddy and Marsh, but does not for Lush
Rugged Combat line : works for Scrub and Rocky, but does not for Barren
Fieldsman line : does not work for any one (Grassland, Plains)
