Single Player bugs and crashes v38 plus (SVN) - After the 20th of February 2018

I'm certain about what the option that SO made a red circle around in the screenie does.
I've never heard of an option that change when in a turn cities with no orders asks for orders, perhaps one does/did exist. :dunno:

Yes, I use it at the start of the game.

It is a BUG option that overrides the standard BTS option (which I also select). As far as I remember, it only works if you do not have to make a decision that turn. As soon as you have to select a building, move a unit etc. you have to end the turn yourself.

So it only really works in the early game, if you have queued up buildings, techs etc. and have units asleep, fortified or automated. It is very useful, saves a lot of unneeded 'Enter' key pressing.

Yes.

You need the BUG option to move on automatically if there are no moves needed by you. Then the BTS option to wait for your input to end the turn, after moving your units etc.

Tried starting a new game with SVN 10480. Cleared my cache, chose my options, but crashed while loading the game.

You're saying this happened when you were setting up the game? What options did you use so I can try to replicate it? Are you using PPIO? Are you setting up with a custom map or a mapscript generator? More info needed but I'm happy to look into it asap.

Not using PPIO. The only new option I used was complex traits. It crashed when the game first started. I think it was complex traits as I tried again without this option and it's been working okay. Is there a place to see what all the options are so I can paste them here?

Are you using a special map or a map script generator? If it's a script generator, which one?

The options you play under are located under the red fist icon in the top left, 2nd page on that screen I think.

(EDIT: I have not found a way to replicate this problem)

Crash on map generation just happen randomly since forever.
Try starting new game again.
I think you would need to start new game like 100 times to get crash on map generation.

I'm using planet generator 2f
 
First, I had the problem with a save game before complex traits was added (don't recall the SVN, maybe 10478). Crashed on loading, so I thought the SVN broke saves. I cleared my cache, started a new game, kept options the same except I checked complex traits. As the game starting generating, it crashed. I then updated to 10480, tried again with complex traits and again crashed when generating the game. I started another game but this time did not start with complex traits and it started the game fine.

There were crashes until the last update. Since then, I can't replicate any cause for a crash you've given. Therefore, there is a detail you have not given that is causing it, OR it was a random problem you had and trying again you may find it doesn't.
 
The No Tech Handicaps for Humans appears to have stopped working. On the screenshot I appear to be getting either Tech Diffusion and or WFL bonus on my research, this was working properly when I was playing last month. I'm on SVN 10480 and using latest version of PPIO.

The No Tech Handicaps for Humans appears to have stopped working. On the screenshot I appear to be getting either Tech Diffusion and or WFL bonus on my research, this was working properly when I was playing last month. I'm on SVN 10480 and using latest version of PPIO.
Post the save.

It's possible there could be some other small modifications that are counted in those that aren't actually TD or WFL as they take a total then assume all modifications past that total are one or the other in the display coding. Might just need to somehow include that modification source into the main number somehow. Nothing has been done that should've been able to disconnect the No Tech Handicaps for Humans option recently.
