Single Player bugs and crashes v42 plus (SVN) - After April 2022

Repeatable CTD, build the fishing boat and try to go to next turn. Save uploaded.

Ah, I guess Obsidian should be moved into Strategic resources then ?
Maybe...it's too marginal imo, only one tech unlocks units requiring it, it's very limited in how long it is useful as not too many techs after it one gets better units that don't require it (not a multiple era defining military/construction resource like the others are, although it is a nice boost for late prehistoric to early ancient).

I would say it depends very much on whether you play with SM. With SM you have much better options to negate the obsidian advantage, but I suppose without it things could get a bit hard. Not to mention that the techs that unlock the better units destroy your Stone Tools Maker, and if you have to rush them you are going to feel that for a while.

Of course, if you lack copper as well ...
 
Also, what's the spawn rate of tin? I recall it being extremely rare to the tune of 1-2 sources for giant sized maps. I know tin is kinda rare, but a little bit of it should also be available everywhere - I might go as far as saying it could be a gathering building like the sticks collector that gives wood.
Well... there ARE only 2 real sources on Earth IIRC.
 
This turned out to be a neat little history slice: . So a bit more than two, and a lot of trade involved. If anything, then we should make it a cluster resource... of course, who has tin can produce multiple smelters for tin ingots and trade them to the others, though I would dread relying on the AI to make it happen.

Does it crash for if you use this dll?

A regular release dll rather than the finalRelease dll that we provide in our SVN repository.
I.e. the attached dll is a less optimized dll than what is on SVN and is what we modders mostly use as it compile a lot faster.

Strange, try changing some of your vanilla game options, like stack attack or quick combat.

Anyone else crash with the save Irishhombre provided above when ending turn?
I tried to load it thru the SVN and it CTD before It even finished loading. I am now letting it run thru Github because that is what it Called up to open it. I use the FinalRelease on Github. Will report back IF it finishes Loading.

EDIT: Okay it loaded thru Github FinalRelease. It had the Modifiers changed Pop up (Ctrl/Shift/T). I said No on this try. It loaded and I completed 2 turns. Save attached

Sorry have not been available, been dealing with family emergency. Trying the DLL now.

Update: It ran for 3 turns and then crashed again. I guess my save is corrupt.

I'll test your save with the finalRelease dll then, and if that doesn't crash then perhaps run the game for 10 turns with the regular release dll.

Your save file ain't corrupt as we could play it without issues.

See my post above. Take that save I made after playing your game 2 turns and try it. Now your save you posted I was able to play under Github. Because when I tried to run it under the SVN it failed to finish loading.

Did a recent version of the SVN get released with a version of FinalRelease Dll from Git by accident?

Not to sound rude, but I might as well just start over. Using the save posted, cities have built things I don't want and random improvements have been added. I don't feel like going through 18 cities one by one and going through the massive build list or going over every square of my territory and figure out what was built and what wasn't built. I will just start over and withdraw my complaint.

Edit: I am also tired of all the culture issues, my squares keep randomly turning, cities mysteriously start revolting because somehow one my cities that has existed for hundreds of turns decide to suddenly adopt a whole new culture.
