Single Player bugs and crashes v43 plus (SVN) - After January 2023

What Difficulty level. This game I just started is only on Prince. I usually test on Emperor Or Immortal. In anycase the barb Cities Have Always had Too mnay units in and around them for years now. Caveat: I Do Not use Size Matters in these Civic test Games. Nearest Barb City, Been whittling down the groups coming out of this city. But still....59 and growing slingers?!!
Even has save files (you can check both, though I'm not sure what was the situation, can't see it from the pics).
Go to the left of what is screenshoted - there's this Barb city cluster.
Maybe was up to 15 unit, at most, but definitely not like 50.
Also, MAX difficulty, but SLOWEST speed, so it probably reduced the number simply because they couldn't build too many units easily (AI seemingly keeps changing priorities).
Your speed is one of the highest (if not Ultrafast, can't guess), so they OF COURSE will flood with a zillion of easily built units.
 
I finally got the Barb city to Culture flip to me when I founded my 2nd city SW of it. Between Culture from Capitol City and 2nd city it flipped in a relatively short time..

Animals actually DO have funky Promotions that make them "feral", plus that might've been an "ambush", plus there's a Game Option that allows animals to fight each other.
So it's NOT "100% impossible" for there being a Super Donkey that managed to "eat" a few Lions and gained a few Super Promos from it, loool.
Still makes little sense in general, of course.
Then again, I sometimes lose units to 95% battles, so...

Have the same kind of issue, seems like the AI is seeing an infinite benefit of fighting crime, besides, those units have a pretty high upkeep, you can see that it hurts its economy badly.

Edit : I investigated in the worldbuilder and it's the only civ with this behavior, so I'm thinking since I'm quite close to them and already with a lot of spy points maybe they are afraid of my spies and build a lot of units that would catch any spy trying to enter their city

May also be a Trait problem, if it's not ALL civs ding this ****.
Or really "scared of the Human", lol.
Still needs to be fixed, because it's indeed ridiculous.

Since update 11634, the game does not allow the production of units for space colonization.
Unfortunately, this makes it practically unplayable.
The update was on the ninth of August.
Today is the twenty-second.

This is incorrect. You need to enable Multi-maps when starting a new game, which then enables the actual Space maps, and that may be the problem you see now.
Though I recall being able to build Space units even without it, so I guess your installation is botched.

There is a game set up option or is it a BUG option(?) That allows Disbanding units for Gold. I use it.

I said that you seemingly can build Space units even without enabling Multi-maps, you just wouldn't be able to use them to Map Switch.
So are you complaining about the units or about the feature?
The two are separate issues, lol.
 
Greetings ! Please don't ban me if i'm writing in the wrong place. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I always liked C2C's main menu picture with caveman and astronaut, as well as pic that is shown when game loads (sorry, don't know how is it properly named), but after i reinstalled my Windows 10 and started a new game, both the main menu pic and loading pic appear changed and i don't like new ones.

What can i do to make the old pics show up again ?

I have SVN r11634, Civ IV Complete edition [GOG].

Pics below show the new main menu and new loading pic.

When U load the mod and this screen comes up (1st screenshot) then click on Advanced U will get 2nd screenshot. Use bottom drop down menu to select BTS or BTS.Classical.
As for the loading screen that was changed sometime back. Don't know if the old loading screen was saved or discarded.

EDIT: we don't ban ppl for asking questions here either. :)
