Snakes & Foxes 3: The ****oo's Nest (Game Thread)

Note that the Brujah has never been selected. And because I'm the innocent one *bats eyes and shakes boobs*, I'll support myself.

Miss, you are as innocent as a ruddy-faced young scallywag found rummaging in his tuck-box after lights-out by his housemaster.

But I see great promise in you. I will wager 10 gold against anyone in this theatre that I can teach our friend the Courtesan to walk and talk like a proper Lady in time for the Embassy Ball.

No thank ya. Your whole scheme sounds like a bad Balseraph stage play.

Baby, if you're sore about me not voting you into battle, then I can give you a free ride!

Midday, Day 15

Something was strange this day. Balmy hot, as if a calm before the storm. Strange things were afoot, whatever that meant. But the contestants kept voting and betting as if nothing was amiss. Maybe there wasn't. Maybe it was just the GM's own balmy summer weather taking its toll.

Of the 13 contestants remaining, no less than 5 had managed to get this far without ever having to risk their lives in the arena. For one of them it was to be remedied the coming evening. The Pirate had already won twice, and was apparently the favorite to win again, since no bets were cast on the Satyr. She just winked and smiled though, as she danced into her isolation.

Current betting odds: Pirate vs Satyr: N/A

Current Vote Tally:
Brujah : 5.4 (1st voter: Beastmaster ; 2nd voter: Luonnotar )
Berserker : 5.2 (1st voter: Pirate ; 2nd voter: Lizardman )

Baby, if you're sore about me not voting you into battle, then I can give you a free ride!

Nonsense, girl. A gentleman of my stature, consorting with your type? It would be all over the papers.

Now repeat after me: 'Horrible Hippus horsemen hardly ever hurt Hyborem.'

"Take your votes off the Courtesan, folks. See, she can't be voted into the arena with my other team mate, Runekeeper thomas.berubeg, and I just used a token to determine that the latter is a Mark. Put him into the arena against the Brujah, Frozen In Ice, I say."

Thanks, Lou. You saved my sexy ass there. I'll change my self-support vote to thomas.berubeg. Besides, I had suspicion against him.

And she thinks to herself: "Wow... I'm getting less and less ladylike by the day. Must be the stingy bastards that aren't willing to get their gold."

Is it alright if I call you Lou?

RuneKeeper!
A Mark you have been proven and I have been eager to slay a Mark this whole tournament! Come, let's see what a mark has compared to the Power that is my own!

{OOC: Hey D'Artagnan! Way to snipe my potential 500 second-to-vote-for-a-dead-mark points with your edits. You crafty so-and-so. ;)

Just for that, I hope thomas survives. :p}

No Eidolon, you shall not take another of my fights away from me. If the Runekeeper has been proven as a mark then I shall fight him! Everyone please let me prove myself in the arena this time and do not dash my hopes again.

Another of your fights? I don't know what you're talking about. After I'm done repainting the walls with the Runekeeper, you can have your fight afterwards. Now I have a fight to prepare for, perhaps you can take a number cause I'm pretty sure your first in line to taste my blade afterwards. :mwaha::yumyum::mwaha:

Markedness? heh. Kilmorph be praised. For Kilmorph's glory i'd do Anything. For to kilmorph I pray, and From Kilmorph I am rewarded.

For some reason it seems like maybe my fellow innocents think I need a break from battle. Well I assure you that I am ready for another fight. The Illusionist's pathetic attacks failed and I am anxious for a fight that will test me and perhaps the Runekeeper can provide that...either way, I challenge the winner for tommorow's battle. I will slay these marks...
