TerrisH
Mischief?
I would think no.. age one, you age both.. but the chance of going red giant is rolled separately for each one.
You should implement TerrisH's suggestion then.
Also, perhaps Rogue Brown dwarfs should have a slot or 2. There are a couple of cases of them having planets. (of course I might be getting ahead of myself. We don't know if this will happen yet.)
Nix that, I don't know what I was thinking. Binary stars are not aged independently, more so for gameplay reasons (you don't have to spend as much GC¤).
So, wait, yes to diamond planets?
Sweet.
Also: I don't want to discourage players from aging stars, and since I foresee a fair amount of binary stars in the galaxy (there are a lot in real life too), I'd rather players have to only age once on these semi-odd systems. Also less work for me.
Well, it's a neutron star orbiting a regular star. In order to get it, you would have to have a star in a binary system go supernova and coalesce into a neutron star while leaving behind the other star.
