staxnes: To Kill a Mockingbird

Because since my NES (I think), he developed an Olmecomania and played Olmecia in every fresh-start, even those with random maps

Its true

Actually I've been waiting for a fresh start nes to get to the point where i'm discovered by the old World....Might have to tech myself up first :/

And Dachs I WILL overrun you.

Alex hates me and my political views , but an ITNES clone is too good to pass up.

Nation Background: An odd mixture of cultures, the Tripolantians are. Their nation was founded by an exiled Egyptian pharoah, who tried to set up a base with which to reclaim his throne, but the people of this nation hardly ever really think about doing that. Instead, it has been heavily influenced by a mixture of Myceneans, Minoans, and Phoenicians, who have morphed the land into one where the monarch has no real power, and the merchant class rules all...

WHICH Tripoli are you? ;)

No, but he is equally likely to move to Phoenicea or to Libya. Or how about Greece (the city of Tripolis)?

YYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY :D

The are quite different from the old locals (locals are sicilian-esque, theese guys are Crete-like, though not known to be from Crete.) They also have an extensive polytheistic religion.

Sigh, Alex, start me off in OTL Kaifeng, SOUTH of the river though :p

Nation Name Shang
Capital: Kaifeng
Ruler: Emperor Wu
Government: Divine Monarchy, but not dynastic (yet)
Centralization:
Tech. Level:
Religion: Chinese Polytheism/Taoism?
Army (Training)(Leadership):
Navy (Training)(Leadership):
Economy:
Civilian Leadership:
Infrastructure:
Education:
Culture:
Confidence:

Nation Background: followers of the yellow emperor.... Just joking.

The myth: Historically Wu's family used to be like any other farmer, with the exception of always plentiful crops, even in the event of natural disasters. Normally this would cause jealousy, if it weren't for the fact that Wu's family were always generous and share all the extra food for free. One thing lead to the next, and Wu's family became the ruler of the region due to the heavenly support they have.

I assume you want another name aside from "Sicillian Empire" ;) And what do you mean it's a Divine Monarchy but not dynastic yet? Do you want your Kingdom to be a relatively new one with its first Emperor or what?

Nation Background: The Chavín are based around their inland capital of Chavin de Huantar, which is located towards the middle of the Peruvian civilized territories. They are a diverse people, with a shamanistic religion, strange rock carvings and cloths are their artwork, and they even have some small skill with metallurgy. Nothing like "iron", of course, but copper, gold, and silver are readily worked by these people. They have a varied diet of maize (a cultural import from Mexico), fish, and the plants of the Andes (beans, potatoes, peppers, etc.), and they have domesticated the llama, a beast perfect for trekking over the vast Andes mountains.

Joining as these guys instead. If you need any help locating them, alex, give me a ring...

Ah... a little reminder for the first BT I would prefer if you send a small "development" orders such as concentrating on land or sea, education or infrastructure and so forth. It's purely optional, but then you'll leave your nation at my mercy ;)

I'm accepting them until 114 hours from now.

And all the seranim did sigh in relief.

Chavín

And all the seranim did sigh in relief a few more times, and did order the scribes to write down the results of the experiment.

"Human sacrifice DOES work!"
