@tyrion, I was going to say you depended on the Taowang providing the troops, but I changed that after I read that you did transport your army. Just forgot to remove the sentence.

@erez, NK switched to the Magahda and he was already instituting a pacifist policy overall in Salzburg so I had choose what to do, and I think allowing troops but not joining in a war seemed like the likely thing.

No. Look, I COULD see an alliance with Fuzhou, them being foreigners to use against foreigners. But Shao-li is a heretic, a traitor, etc, etc, whom Taowang and all others in our leadership can't stand even to hear about. Please revise that part, as any alliance with Shao-li is IMPOSSIBLE. Rather, the more plausible scenario is us attacking Fuzhou and Shao-li from the south, so that we now could fight a one-on-one battle with the Mori, having destroyed the others.

I repeat - an alliance is IMPOSSIBLE, even if Turtledove's lizards begun landing all over Taiwan.
