@Erez: Can I be Red? Thanks. Oh, and change the ruler to Menes.

Orderstory:

The great school of the recently founded capital Memphis was thriving. The newly grasped secrets of mathematics had helped in the remeasuring of fields after the triannual great floods. Irrigation projects were initiated, dams constructed and kettle domesticated. The kingdom had gained much and lost little after the unification of the Lower and Upper Egypt. Now the ambitious nation was to embark on their greatest project ever: The Pyramids.

Their great civilization was to etch the ground where they had flourished to preserve their memory forever in history. They wanted to say "Kilroy was here" to Men of future millennia. They wanted to be immortal.

New Project: The Great Pyramids

Update 2, 3900BC

War erupts on the British islands as the Angle tribes choose to go to war against the Britons. At the first years victories have been noted on all fronts. It was when the Britonian tribes officialy decleared themselves as a united tribe and nation when their army suddenly grew... Angle armies might have had better leadership but against this numbers they jsut could fight... The Britonians begun to advance on the Angles, going on a straigh route to Lodinum. Will the Angles suceed in stopping this march?
Looses: 400 Angleland men, 800 Britons men

Yet all is not lost. From the North the pict tribes seems to assemble under the banner of hate towards all of southern Britian. And in the South Gaulish tribes land in southern Britonia lookign for more lands to conquer for their ever growing barbaric culture.

In the Italian penisola the Romans begin to move and expand. They don't suceed in much as new states quickly rise to oppose them. None of the other nations is roman and none wish to be. Most of them, espaicly the ones in Southern Italy are quite weekling, like the Romans... The Only true threat is the Etruscan tribe which grows and grows with no stop in sight. The Etruscan invade northern italy and settles looking towards the rest of italy as their own... the new tribes are: In the south Neapolis rise around the village of Naples. North to it in the western coast of italy rise Capua. The largest of them all are the Samnites. Strong wariars with stronge defenses on Italy. They are probably the biggest tribe to Rome, but in case Etrusca chooses to march south they are also the only allies that could help Rome...

On the fertile nile come to rise the Egyptians. High population helps it expand bigger than any other true tribe and the fertile nile helps the economy to grow further than ever...

Eh, didn't read that last post thoroughly enough. Sorry for the PM erez87. :crazyeye: I'll toss my hat in as:

The Heavenly Empire of China
Leader: Emperor Kao Tsu\Symphony D.
Government: Chiefdom (Divine Autocracy)
Age: Stone Age
Economy: Stable [0\3]
Army: 1000 men
Navy:
Confidence: Normal
Eduction: Idiotic
UU:
Notes: A somewhat cultured agricultural society, leanings toward the pursuit of knowledge in all things - peaceful and otherwise. This particular group originated along the banks of the Yangtze River and its population is most heavily concentrated in the city of Nanjing.

A dark red or dark blue-green would be nice as a color, but whatever's available is fine.

Anyone can join always. also after the big update that will take us to bronze.

The river was at the right level for Spring - it didn't seem there would be bad floods this year, and the planting was going good as well. There would be ample food for the people this year if nature and the Gods continued to give their blessings. Kao Tsu indeed held the Mandate of Heaven, thought Li Sun.

But great though the town of Nanjing was, it was not enough for their Emperor. Li Sun well understood this notion, though he was but a farmer - if the Emperor was ordained by the Gods to rule Nanjing, he was entitled to rule other places as well - all places, in fact. Nowhere could be grander than here. Yes, and the crops this year's harvest would bring would be instrumental in that.

They would be used to help feed the exploratory and defensive forces the Emperor was assembling among the village people.

Objective:
Expand along the Yangtze River, both directions. After initial expansion along the river, expand along the coast and outward from the river.

Orders:
1.) Send 200 Men farther inland along the river to explore for signs of civilization. Found a city farther upriver (Wuhan) if possible.
2.) Send 600 Men toward the coast to explore for signs of civilization. Found a city near the mouth of the river if conditions suitable (Shanghai).
3.) If other peoples are found, attempt friendly contact, use knowledge and trade to try and convert them to allies, and possibly subjects. If this fails, use force.
4.) If peoples are found who are friendly, attempt to use same methods to expand in general area. This is believed to have a higher probability along the coast.
5.) Spend 1 Economy on Education.

Kao Tsu leant back in his chair, clasping his hands together over his stomach "What do you imagine they'll find?"

Zhou Xiao stared out the window of the private quarters thoughfully "Honestly, your majesty, I don't quite know," he said before pausing, then added "The village elders do think it more likely they'll find more peoples along the coast, we already have some limited trade with peoples living downstream."

"It would make more sense to send more people downstream than upstream then" stated Kao, before tilting his head "We should send wisemen along with the soldiers and try persuasion first; it would please the Gods if the river did not run red with blood."

"As you wish, your majesty" responded Zhou, placing his hands together infront of him and bowing before going to organize additional travelers for the party.

Phah. Picked the wrong nation, I can't maintain interest or write orders in time. I quit, might come back when I come back next monday.

Cherson

"You! Stop forgetting to send my orders!" "Yes sir."

Orders
-increase army
-expand north into the Crimean peninsula
-make trade posts in Trebizond, Bulgaria, and the Dardunelles *asian side*

Incan Orders

Ermmm

Settle more Cities and/or boost agriculture production along the Rivers and lake.

and ummm....bah, upgrade education, and the other two eco's can go into the economy can they not? (so i would have a Growing [1/4] would i not?) (due to normal growth as well)

You can eaither grow economy or grow somthing. every 1 thing is 1 eocnoy. why you think you got 3??

Rome

Increase economy.

Keep 1000 men on guard in Rome itself, and also a central reserve to support my military venture, which is attacking "Capua" (What? Capua is next to Neapolis OTL! That should be "Apulia" or some other thing...oh well) with my other 2000 men. Send 500 directly into Capuan territory, and decoy the Capuans into thinking that this is the main force by not deploying the other 1500 men until the Capuans start marching at the 500. Have the 500 withdraw to some good terrain (it's the Apennines, there is lots of great terrain there to defend) and hold the Capuans while the other 1500 move along the coast and attack the capital.

Update is today unless i'm busy... I'll suggest who that want to send orders to hurry ;)

Orders:
Increase Economy by expanding into rich land
Have whole army expand as much as possible

Update 3 3800BC

East Asia shows signs of life and what great life are those. The people of Nanjing rise to power and claim themselves to be the Empire of all of China. The first to oppose this claim were the people of Shanghai (blue). They aren't very strong but trade from a northern unknown country comes throught them. This unknown country was soon to be known. The Grand Nation of Shang China (yellow) laugh at the claims of Nanjing and show what true power is by sending a fleet of trirems to the southern coast of Nanjing and burn down a small port in there.

The nation of Epirus collapse under invading Mycenaean and Dorians who come from Greece. The stone ages are just not that fine for a true city to rise... Yet Epirus have not begone. The village still exist under Greek tribes occupation that maybe one day could end?

Cherson are back to buisness. Well almost. They seemed to forget they have no navy to create trade posts across the black sea... Not that canoes are any good anyway. But Chersonian armies do march northward into hostile tribes and win the day in a single battle at the end of the Crimean penisola and now they are in full contorl of all of it for the first time.

The Incans continue to grow their economy and it seems to go to know end! Other tribes around are amazed by the riches seen in Incaland and want to be part of it, other tribes just want it... And so several tribes join the Incans (+1000 men) while several other, northern tribes, invade Incaland and in a great battle in the north destory a small Incan army and continue to move towards the capital...
(Looses, Inca -200 men)

The Romans go to war! Capua is no match for their strong, very strong, armies! Soon Capua surrender and annexed to Rome. The Romans also presue the people of Capua t give them their navy and in return they didn't burned down the village.
(Looses: -1 Capua, Rome -600 men)
The Romans belived that after this quick war all is quite. You cannot possibly tell how suprised they were when 3000 Etruscan men marched from the north, burning and pillaging. The 1000 roman men left to gaurd the city have somhow stopped their advance at the wooden walls of the village of Rome. The Roman men in the south begun marching north, hurrying to defende their homelands when news of the Samnite horde raiding some lands as well in the north have shocked them. It seems the Samnite tribes are not happy with Vapua being occupied and soon 2000 Samnite men take Capua from the men who were left to gaurd it, slaughtering them all but for a cost. It seems Rome is in a problem...
(Looses: Etrusca -700 men, Samnites -900 men, Rome -500 men)
There is no alliance between the Samnites and Etrusca, and it's seems that ones they meet they will fight as well.... Who would dominate the Italian penisola? Neapolis say they are neutral, seems like they are closer to Rome than all three... Also, worried for their precious city 700 men join the Roman army.

Persia continue to expand all along... well until they reach mesopotamia where they see how much they missed!!! The first country they meet is Sumer (greenish). A mighty oligarchy of city states that has been growing with no limits for more than 200 years. It looks like Sumer could conquer the world in one day! They look strong but rumors say that they are already being destoried themselves by unkown tribes, which are far inferior to Sumer. So how could they beat them? Sumer armies are not trained, and Sumer culture is the most peacfull you can get. They just don't like to fight. Their men after too many looses are rumored to just escape the battlefield... The tribe known to kick Sumer butt the msot seems to be called Akkad.

In the British isles all hell breaks. The Celts bring huge armies, numbering in the ten of thousands to crash everything that opposes them. Britonians are no match for such an army. The celts soon defeat Britonia and the picts that harrased it when seeing it's weak. Many thought that after the Celts were gone in the north that they left the Angles to live. Probably they did until some stupid army chief invaded old Britonian lands causing both Britanian people uprising AND the celtic armies came back and crashed the Angles, sacking Londium and burning it like a candle. (ooc: Always wanted to do that  )
Already Britonian people seem to eb settleing on the left over of the Angles... and it seems the celtic chaose is over, for now... but the Angle people are tired, and very few are left (thought there are more on the continent... in their old homelands) and so the Britonian people seem to be growing stronger... but the celts still very much occupy the lands.

Egypt is quite. too quite. None is aware of what that is growing around them... Rumors of another Pharaoh in the south keep on reaching their own Pharaoh... Soon rumors seems to bring more and more proove... Is there somthing there in the south? Well Egypt is growing it's education and the wisemen say... Yes! there is... Also Egyptian Wisemen succeed in handeling Copper and Egypt is swept into the Copper age all by themselves.

The people of Malta seemed to have just vanished from earth...
