Prince Abdul to See Nation
First Prince Abdul is schedualed to begin his grand inspection of the nation this week. His first stop on the list will be the ancient city of Babylon home to the beautiful Hanging Gardens and center of much Sumerian culture. Prince Abdul is then expected to meet crowds of people as he makes a speech the subject of which has not been disclosed.
From Babylon Prince Abdul is then expected to come here to Haifa to inspect the shipyards and meet Grand Admiral Fahyim to assess Sumer's current navel strength. The Prince will then make a slight detour south to see the Great Temple of Soloman before heading in his trip north to T'iblisi and sightsee new factories there.
Although authoriaties have yet to disclose where the Prince will go after meeting with the Governor of Georgia, we can speculate that he'll take a scenic cruise across the Caspian see and then be the first royal member to visit Kazakstan after it's incorperation into the Kingdom. Prince Abdul's charisma has made him one of the most favorite royal family members in Sumer, almost as close as his father. Security is expected to be heavy and secrecy has been very important to this trip.
Baghdad Fever
The city of Baghdad, located not far from Babylon, has continued to grow at an exponential rate. Turned from an agricultural town into a center of industry by King Abbas II before the War of Kazak Inclusion, Baghdad is growing at an ever increasing rate. Home to the largest skyscrapers and a grid-like layout, Baghdad is considered by many to be the most modern city in all of Sumeria. Although still smaller than many Sumerian cities the current growth rate puts Baghdad to be a major city within the next 5 years, and perhaps even one of the top 5 most populated cities in Sumer within the next 10 years.
Leviathan's in Playoffs!
For the first time in 3 years, Haifa's football team has finally managed to pull itself out of a rut and has played well enough to enter this year's playoffs. Many point to this sucess for two reasons. Firstly the acquisition of Habib Muwaffaq from Babylon, who was the 4th top scorer during this season. Secondly the sucess has been attributed to the employment of none other than French coach Jacque Dutard, who led the Marsailles Cougers to 3 straight victories in the French League before The World War. The Leviathan's are this years pick to go all the way.
