Suggestions and Requests

Are troop spawns and scripted wars documented anywhere (outside python code)? Also, is that mechanic something you wish to change?

They are in the form of hints. I think it works well for Greece and Rome so I don't think I will change them substantially.

Maybe it's useful to add the info to the Central Planning civic that it only allows 1 corporation at the same time in each city. (This is what I understand from the code. Maybe I don't fully understand it and the effect of CP is slightly different.)

No, that's the effect.

17th century saw a dramatic decline in world's population. Many historians talk about General Crisis. It overlapped with little Ice Age. Game has mechanics about global warming, but no mechanics depicting how Greenland become not so green anymore, for example. Can we somehow depict General Crisis/Climate Change/Famine? Can we specifically allow for some settlements in Greenland before Little Ice Age? After all that's how America was discovered. City plot changing to Ice can simply turn a city into city ruins.

Loosing city to Nature (famine, earthquake, tsunami) is far more realistic than city flipping to the newborn civilization. And current Plague is a little baby compared to what was in the times of vanila RFC. And do you remember the Plague in RFCE?

I noticed the galleon french flag is the revolutionary tricolour flag, it should be the royal fleur-de-lis flag. (french revolution happened after colonisation)

We have only one Korean leaderhead,
Why not add Sejong as a renaissance leader?
His LH graphics are being used as Hongwu of China (if I remember correctly)
I really think you should use another LH as Hongwu's and give Sejong to Korea.
I mean, he is THE most loved leader in the entire Korean history!:D

PS
I think it would be nice to insert leader change into Kim Jong Il if Korea becomes socialist.:goodjob:
I found a rather good LH graphic here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=7840

I'd like to replace Hongwu to free up Sejong, but first I need a better Hongwu LH.

As a mostly player-only civ it doesn't make sense for them to have multiple leaders.

I think it'll be cool if Human could respawn if died after like 30 turns or so.

Example:
Human is Kongo, having only Mbanza Kongo and Portugal demanded it. Human refuse but lose to Portugal and die. A DoM-like loading screen appear and Human wait for 30 turns to re-spawn. At the re-spawn, they would see that the world had changed so much when they left, and feels like playing a new game with new strategy again - maybe acting as Angola or Zimbabwe now

Example2:
Human is Mongol. Due to an overexpansion stability penalty, suddenly Human collapse. Human went to DoM-like screen and after 30 turns, found out that Russia has taken much of his land, and China is stronger than ever. Now, can Human re-start Genghis Khan's dream to unite all steppe cities under Mongolian rule?

NOTE:
- Can only happen once
- Only happen if collapse and respawn is inside the timeframe (Human Babylonia can never respawn if they collapsed by Arab invasion in 600s AD, for example.)
- Probably this will obsolete some of UHV they pursue - I'm still unsure about this. My intention was for a fun, carefree game that doesn't really care for UHV
- Does not happen if 30 turns after Human collapse there are only less than 100 turn left

On a very unrelated note,
it will be great if you could add Vietnamese LH for Khmer; appear only when Khmer's DCN is Dai Viet - which almost always happen after Thai spawn in 1350AD. (I've never seen Kingdom of Pagan or Kingdom of Nanzhao anymore since many revision ago.

Humans shouldn't lose from collapse; they should retain their capital city and reset their stability.
