Can I mention Civ ? I started a game as Ghengis on immortal....not a single happy rescource and no horses . 8 hours later (marathon) I have in my capital The Oracle , The great library , the great lighthouse , Artemis and Colossus . Monty and Hatchesput are my vassals

Now it's basically down to me and a massive (admittedly pleased) Shaka as my neighbor . He built SOZ and captured The Mids and is just pumping out units in Police State . The game is also set to aggressive AI

Not at your caliber yet, but I can play the game in 3D now!!

With the last patch, my below spec laptop (not the 3D computer) practically flies through games now. Started a marathon (huge map) Wed. and over a third finished. Should plough through the last 2/3 by Tuesday.
