the abortion thread that tries to be different like a slimy little hipster

Well done on writing a post where I agree with every word and disagree with the post itself. Bonus marks for the No True Scotsman fallacy.

 that's funny actually.

I know one girl who apparently got one in 7th grade, its not really something I ask people though.

There's something wrong when 7th graders are having sex. Even ignoring any Christian morality, its not something seventh graders should be doing. This post proves it.

I'm also willing to bet she had no clue what she was doing and did not actually see the child via sonogram before she allowed the doctor to murder it.

Your first sentence is one to which no one is likely to disagree. The second sentence is so full of speculation and hyperbole you might as well have left in your keyboard and not wasted our time with it.

Yes I have known three women who had to go through it. I don't know how much it cost or if the man paid for any. In one case I would assume he paid all of it. All done legally.

I assume you mean fourth sentence (instead of second)?

And to think I work in proofreading. Never mind...

Yes. It's got to be the 4th. Or the 2nd paragraph.

So, this girl would be 12 or 13. Is it likely she would have had full cognizance of all the implications of abortion? As for seeing a sonagraph of a fetus about to be aborted, I would think that unlikely for any woman.

I would sure as hell never sleep with a woman

I applaud your courage. I know discussing this has to be very hard for you. Have you told your parents?

OK, that was good for a laugh but you know full well you took me out of context.

But if I had to I'd just quote 1 Corinthians 7:1 at them, and ensuring to do so just as out of context as you just did there;)

I was born in bed with a woman. And I once shared a cabin on a ship with her. She snored.

edit: flippancy

How do you propose to prevent them? 24/7 surveillance? Strict sex segregation until they are of an age appropriate to "procreate"?
Tried before. Failed.

I didn't say they should do anything to legally prevent it. I said that "There's something wrong with society when it happens." Not "We should legally prevent them."

Its a legal, cultural, and family problem. Not a legal problem. But a problem nonetheless.

those things you're throwing into a rather serious debate (about people's experiences with abortion) are getting highly inappropriate...

when people talk to you about such things in real life, do you start to discuss the bible and your preferred age of consent as well?
it's kind of inadequate behaviour.

GW, I want to remind you you're not talking about anonymous or hypothetical people in this thread, instead you're directly addressing what could be close personal friends of those who posted their story.

It's not worth it, for the purpose of re-iterating for the umpteenth time your take on abortion, to insult those people. If you have nothing to add, maybe you should stay out of this thread for your own good.

I can think of three right now where I knew them well enough that they would've just told me. Two of them, the guy probably helped pay. One of them, I don't know. All the girls were floating near the '20s' mark at the time. Of the fathers, two of them would've been relieved. One of them was kinda sad for awhile

do you know women who have had abortions? if yes, was it an official procedure or done illegaly? what did they have to pay and did the spermally involved man pay half?
Yes, and they had it done on the NHS.

And it was the correct descion for them to make. No way could she of had a baby with that guy.

Yeah. I'm sure I know a few women who have had one and they've not been open about it.

My dad's first wife also 2 abortions while they were married.
