The all new, totally accepted, bigotry thread - "Blame a Christian"

Especially when creationists claim physics, biology and geology as their divine domain as well.

Eggs? Is that a thing people argue over?

Um, that's true of scientists too... by the way...
Global warming debate... eggs are good or bad for you... etc...

Not true.

The examples you chose aren't representative of scienctists arguing over facts.

The body of data scientists *don't* argue over is the relevant comparison.

It seems you're confusing scientists with vocal internet minorities.

The scientists don't claim to have a personal relationship with god.

I'd posit that personal communication with the Creator should decrease ignorance, instead of increasing it.

Actually I've never seen a serious global warming debate in a scientific journal. I dunno about eggs, I'd eat them anyway. They're good with bacon. :D

Of course, scientists don't go to war over differences in "facts", so I guess they're more reasonable about it than us Christians, eh?

Since science is explicitly anthropocentric, it's nonsensical to claim that God "created" it, as much as claiming that God created shadows (or, according to Christian theology, that God created evil).

God created science, so yeah.
I would happily let God speak with authority about science, if he ever comes down and start talking with us.

But Creationist retards attempting to impersonate competent persons ? I'm afraid THAT doesn't work.
It's not because you gullibly follow someone that you magically inherit all his capabilities, and selectively reading, interpreting and remembering the Bible doesn't make anyone able to speak about science - in fact, more often than not, it's the exact opposite.

Wow, what a poor reply.

Scientists don't go to war over differences... well, when was the last time Christ said Christians should? When was the last time a Christian nation fought a war based on religion anyhow? Oh, back when there was about 5 scientists per country... so, no, those 5 guys didn't start wars...

Show me a war that wasn't started over money in the end, and I'll show you a war that was a LONG time ago. That's what men really worship.

God created science, so yeah.

No, he really didn't. What you're looking for is that he defined science. He no more created science than he did geography, politics, music or any other human endeavour.

People are rarely willing to lay down their life or slaughter other human beings in the name of someone else's money, but they commonly do it in the name of religion.

I'm thinking of the creeping Christianity in the us armed forces... seems like religion is being used in a way that kind of goes against it's central tenets.

First World War. Second World War. Done. Next.

They join the military, and therefore are subject to other people's considerations of what we should go to war over. It's usually over money.
Creeping Christianity in the US armed forces? What are you talking about?

First World War. Second World War. Done. Next.
Yeah, if you think so...
Next.
