The Democratic Caliphate.

Okay then I have no idea... Thanks anyways! I'll take the Stability Adviser position and think about it until then.

Also Spirictum, when you make the next gameplay, remember that we were going to switch to Guilds.

Yeah, I'm reviewing everything, you can be sure almost nothing will slip under my notice.

Working on this, I have some questions/informations I must ask/notify each one of the Provincial Counselors (and I'll do them here, so we may have a debate with Caterpillar and others while we are undecided about what do to with the group):

Dar al-Zanj

Check below if this screenshot reflects what you want for your city schedule. You proposed that the Caliph used the tiles as he sees fit, so I think this responsibility is mine, and thus my plan is to focus on :hammers: for you to finish your buildings quicker. Next pop I would put on the Hills with a :commerce: 2-South from Zanzibar (2S from now on) and then the forested plains (2S1E of Zanzibar). After the road to silver is done, they will start making mines on those plains hills to get more :hammers:.

Dar al Arab

Reviewing your unit orders I have to notify you that you can't bring your 4 units back to province because you don't have 4 units outside your province. You actually only have 1 Camel Archer in Babil, your other 2 units are the Garrisons in Makkah and Sana'a. On total you have 3 military units (and 1 worker). So what to do with the Camel Archer? If nothing is said until a limit not estipulated yet I'll put it in Makkah.

About your worker actions, the only Hill which may get a mine is a forested hill 1S of Makkah. Also there is an unimproved Incense 1N of Makkah and an unimproved forested hills Coffee 1E of Sana'a, as you may see below in the screenshots. So what to do with your workers?

Below are your two cities programmed for the next update, tell me if it's like you wanted, I tried my best to follow your orders.

Dar ash-Sham

Check below if this idea is ok to your cities. I interpreted in Al-Quds that Tile priority is Fish>Coast/Oasis>Cottages>Mine>Spy>Scientist meant all Coast/Oasis tiles available before Cottages. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also the whips are already done.

Dar al-Iraq

Here is the hardest situation, I couldn't come with any conclusion about how to start. Both your cities have things left to do. Babili is completing a Catapult and will start a Trebuchet next, while Ninawa is completing a Camel Archer and then has a Trebuchet, an Axeman and a Catapult in the queue. How am I supposed to deal with those previous assignments and the new? Put in line? Override? Let complete and then override? Put in First?

Also, any orders for the workers you want to whip out? They will most probably join us before next council.

Dar al-Anadol

Check these and tell me if there is anything to change.

I would like screenshots for Iraq. Considering the info you have given here though, I would say continue with this queue do not override, but add the new items to this queue.

I think you may know of my policy on whipping. Whip any and everything possible but with regards to a population threshold of 8 for Babili and 6 for Ninawa. I can't finalize these thresholds however without a screenshot.

Also... shouldn't we be discussing this in the group rather than the thread ?

I agree with what you have done with population there. :goodjob:

That's why.

The screenshots I brought here are of the things already edited by me, as I couldn't edit your cities, then you may check the screenshots in the Council Report thread because they are correct for your cities. To make your life easier:

So there are 2 different situations in Babil and Ninawa. Babil has only a Catapult that's being finished and after it a Trebuchet, and Ninawa has 4 units left in schedule. In Babil you said you wanted buildings, especially religious buildings. In Ninawa you wanted to whip 2 workers (considering the whip limit at 1 pop always). After those orders the cities were to repeat the troop schedule of old.

So what to do exactly in each city?

Ok, I'll modify my order to include :

1) Build a Mosque in Babili after the trebuchet and after that build the wall.

2) Build the workers first in Ninawa then keep building the units.

Whip where possible with a minimum pop threshold of 8 for Babili and 6 for Ninawa.

What about the previous orders? (buildings in Babil and workers in Ninawa) what to do with them? And will you repeat the troop schedule at the end of their queues or not?

The troops get priority in Babili workers get prioritized in Ninawa. Build the workers in Ninawa before you build the military units. Don't override, just queue up, and build the building in Babil after the military units.

Everything else stands as I had stated it in the council. troop schedule is repeated as stated in the group.

I still don't know what to do with the workers, I couldn't find any info about it in the Council of 1189 thread. Any orders?

EDIT:

Currently you have 1 worker building a farm in 4 turns 1S of Ninawa.

Here are your screenshots already with updates, tell me if everything is correct:

I would like to start playing tomorrow as I'll have time for that, so I'm giving 24h to the rest of the Provincial Counselors to tell me if they disagree with something.

VGL is the most important to give me an answer because his workers need some updated orders. The rest may just agree/disagree.

Is that starting from when you made that post?

What did you change Spirictum? Also, does anyone remember what my last two worker order's were?

I didn't change anything on your cities, I just put in the queue what wasn't there. Your workers are building Windmills currently. Your orders were:

Worker:
Pave road from Anqarah to Kunstaniniyah.
Otherwise, Workers build farms along the river where possible, windmills on non-resource tiles that do not already have mines.
Appropriate improvement in resource tiles.

Okay, the building and worker orders are correct. How did you interpret my pop. point orders?

1 Hour until the limit is reached. I'm eager to play this game!

So if Knoedel and VGL don't appear here with their opinions about my interpretations of their orders, I'll:

Use the tiles of Al-Quds as they are in the picture posted under Dar ash-Sham;

Bring the Arab Camel Archer to Makkah;

Build a Plantation on the coffee, then on the incense, and, if the 20 turns aren't over yet, start the mine on the last unimproved hill of Makkah.

I'll start playing the game in the next hour, and I hope I may end it still today to give Jackelgull the screenshots so he can make the story already.

Just to remind everyone about our current situation, we are the most incredible nation on Earth, but the Mongols are spawning right now, and we still don't know what will happen. Then the Ottomans are going to come in ~100 years (we will have 2 councils until there I guess), and they will surely attack us hard.

After those last threats, we don't have any spawn to care about inside our territory (unless our stability drops a lot), only if we start conquering other places (Persia will spawn in 1500 for example).
