Wrong Louis, IMHO. Unless we're talking about different Netherlands. Anyway, Henri IV (who is definitely the Great) conquered the Spanish ones, and Louis XIII conquered the United Provinces during one of their "Stadholderless periods". The Dutch cities still do enjoy considerable autonomy, though.

It was Louis XV. Marechal de Saxe won the Battle of Fontenoy against the British during the war of Austrian Succession, thereby occupying basically the entire Austrian netherlands, which Louis XV then gave back to the Austrians in the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle in 1748, making him horribly unpopular at home, yet noble in the eyes of foriegners whom began to call him and France "The Arbiter of Europe".

That's the Austrian ones, yes.

Are you sure? :ninja:

As das is not taking reservations, I am not going to respect supposed reservations. :p

Well, I want either Japan or Sweden, but Im not gonna start a civil war over it.

I would like to know more indepth on Japan though.

Wow. You leave for a day and go to a party, and everyone makes invalid reservations.

What fun.

Not everyone.

Tired of people making invalid reservations? Then join the "I hate NES reservations" club today!

Our purpose is solely to make lots of noise when people try to reserve nations in an NES, as we feel that reservations make things very boring for NESes in general. Also, we distribute free virtual vokda, not for any particular reason, but really just because das is Russian.

Shouldn't Spain have more territry in the S. West US? The first expeditions into the S. West were very early. Now, IIRC, by the time the Russians started colonizing Alaska Spain had already secured all the way to San Francisco quite a long while before.

Yeah, what with Cabrillo and Junipero Serra and all of those things that you (I) once learned in California History class in fourth grade.

NK, I'm not really a club joiner. Ask Jim Casy, maybe. (Except he's DEAD! HAHAHAHAHAHA)
