It's a sandwich, but a really stupid sandwich. Properly designed sandwiches are a delight to consume and don't require you to have a weird mutant face or take bites of bread and nothing but bread the first 10 bites
You just add more meats or cheese or eggs or lettuce or whatever you want and repeat the process with the next contestant, obviously.

Correct. And I'm not even a big fan of reubens, but that sandwich cannot be denied... the shredded cabbage really brings the room together. This is a sandwich:

It's a reasonable facsimile of the real thing. I have made them and they are quite delicious. Notice how the bread encompasses the sandwich fillings and stuff is kind of exposed. That, my dears, is a proper sandwich.![]()
The menu was correct.Had this last night. Menu said it's a sandwich.

Caramelized onions, bacon, peppered brandy sauce.
Called an Angus campfire sandwich.
There is nothing "iconic" about a "Pig Ear Sandwich". At best it's an obscure, local, fetish/niche food. The BBC has entered the arena with a Pig's Ear Sandwich.

Half my family lives in the American south and they're black... I also lived in the south for years... and I've never even heard of such a thing.
Now let me explain my vision... hold in on both ends like corn on the cob and chow down on the middle, making sure to apply pressure so it doesn't fall apart. It's not just a meal, it's a game/challenge.
Already explained:I don't think it would be possible tho, after a few bites you'd have catastrophic failure of the sandwich
