Okay - just fair warning, everyone - it might be a bit of time before I can take the picture. Of course if the surgery goes well and recovery isn't too long, I can do the picture sooner. In any case, I'll do it ASAP.

At least I don't have a horrible summer cold like last time. It was brutal, getting over that.

By my reckoning its been stalled for about 10 weeks now.

I propose that, going forward, we opt to skip people if they know they won't be able to send it along in, say, 3 weeks from delivery. Thoughts?

If our goal is 800 days, we've got about 660 left, with 23 people (including Valka). That leaves just over 4 weeks per person. However, if we went with skipping people who wouldn't be able to send it on in 4 weeks, we'd inevitably still have some people go over. So I think peter grimes' proposal of skipping those who won't be able to send it on in 3 weeks is reasonable.

On the good side, the original one actually still has a shot at 800 days, depending on how long it takes for it to make it back to Finland. But we can't have too many legs where it takes over half a year and still hit 800 days!
