The Great CFC Pizza-Off

Good idea, but I only have 167 minutes remaining and then have to go to work tomorrow? I didn't see this thread early enough.

Aye those toppings look fine.
Now, if you were putting chopped bananas with a jack daniels chocolate sauce all over it - i would have serious issues with it.

I've had a pizza with chopped bananas on it. It was a rather unusual pizza - bananas, curry, and I don't remember exactly what all else - ham I think? You can find some different pizza varieties in Sweden. It was actually fairly good.

No one likes pineapple on their pizzas?

Pineapple on pizza is good! Add some ham or bacon, possibly cinnamon, and you've got a solid pizza.

Who puts ground beef on a pizza? I mean honestly, that's really a waste of two perfectly good things.

I was thinking the same thing. While in Paris, I order what they called an "American Pizza" and it had ground beef on it. Never had that in the USA, don't know where it came from.

No one likes pineapple on their pizzas?

Oh Gawd yes.

I'd be willing to try this another time, no submissions right now.

I'd sumbit for another contest in some time, not right now. We could have a few a year and have people vote on the best one for the year.

i vote for verarde

and pineapple and ham are tasty together

but my favorite store brand is papa murphys chicken and bacon stuffed pizza with garlic sauce, not tomato paste

My family is crazy about pizza. Unfortunately, dairy does not agree with me anymore so this thread leaves me feeling :twitch:. I could have sworn that I have a picture of my first pizza (I was proud) but I cannot find a good view of it.

Regardless, I approve of this thread :D

I routinely cook pizza. I use a store bought crust, usually boboli. Use olive oil on the crust, and tomato sauce that comes with the crust. Then I put a layer of baby spinach on it all over. Then I will add chopped white mushrooms, and white onions. Then I will add artichoke hearts. I cover that with an italian 4 cheese mix, and the last thing I put on top is some bacon crumbles and sun dried tomatos. I cook it in my oven at 350 for about 15 to 20 mins until the bottom crust is golden brown, then slice it up.

Tastes awesome.

I'll cook one up tomorrow and add a pic.

That's a solid sounding pizza! :yum: But I'd make it without the bacon.

I'm moving in the morning, so my apartment is depleted of food. We bought $1 Giant brand pizzas and covered them in red pepper flakes and oregano. Not bad, for being a dollar store brand pizza.

Ok, ok guys.

How about I extend the deadline to...lets say whenever I go to bed Sunday night.

Though someone else is more than welcome to handle the second one contest.

I just bought ingredients to make chili tomorrow, so I'm out. Chili pizza doesn't sound as good as regular chili.

There's a pizza place near me that has a dairy-free vegan pizza that's quite good. I'm not even vegetarian, but it's legitimately good pizza. Most of the time, though, I do go for cheesed pizzas, but I also down milk by the gallon.

Hey guys, I haven't forgotten about this.

My work schedule has been insane though, and the "CFC Pizza" slice isn't very large, to be honest. Would anyone else mind making the poll, so we can get these things voted on? I'd hate for these delicious pies to be made for nothing ;)

generally i'm not a very health conscious person. but when i looked at the nutritional content it was a big surprise it is full of salt and saturated fat which isn't exceptional for that type of food, but Dr Oetker's are the premier league and champions league winners in terms of shite.

and importantly they just don't taste that nice:P home made is best ;)
