Why does so much pop culture (Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Disney's Hercules) use the Roman name for Heracles and Greek names for all the other mythological figures?

I've often wondered that. I simply put it down to the infamous American ignorance of anything non-American.

[](/flutterjerk) Nobody even plays BF2 anymore.

There seem some people. Besides, my computer is a year old and I already need to upgrade the video card to play BF3. :(

I still fancy myself a gamer(albeit with a bit less time than I used to have) but I just haven't been able to muster up much enthusiasm for FPSs recently. :( Walking giant customizable death robots being an exception. I wouldn't doubt people still play BF though. Heck, Everquest 1 has a larger lingering population than you would think. I think they still run 3 or 4 servers and that game is in its 14th year.

Same here. I love to buy some uber $1,500 Ailenware computer but I only play video games what, maybe 10 hours a week if that, so is it even worth it to buy it for a FPS game I will only play 2 hours a day Monday-Friday and that's it? Probably not.

What's the best way to avoid sickness and diarhorrea illnesses?

Vaccination and care in what you eat/drink/expose yourself to is about it.

What I find, this may be just me, is that i'm suspectible to getting ill when i don't sleep very well for a peroid of time. Try and get a good nights rest most nights ;) FB covers the rest as per usual :)

I wanted to be either an astronaut or a brain surgeon. I should have stuck with one or other of these, since I seem to have rather fallen between the two, somehow.

You perform brain surgeries in space?

A lot of people in my family have come down with a nasty vomiting illness. While I'm not likely to come into contact with them, I want to know how best to minimise my chances of catching it from other ways. :p Is it generally airborne? If so, how can one guard against an airborne disease?

Well, no. I meant I'm neither an astronaut nor a brain surgeon. I'm sorry to have misled you, somehow.

Facemask is the only way I've heard of, and that's not tremendously successful. But I don't think gastroenteritis is generally airborne, unless someone vomits over you.

Washing your hands after going into a sickroom is not a bad idea, too. I have heard.

..your telling me you actually are NOT a Astronaut Brain Surgeon? I'm shocked. After all these years...
