The NESer Neptune's Pride Thread!

If this is to end in fire
Then we should all burn together
Watch the flames climb high into the night

Calling out father, oh,
Stand by and we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side high

And if we should die tonight
We should all die together
Raise a glass of wine for the last time

Calling out father, oh,
Prepare as we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side

Desolation comes upon the sky

Oh, woah, this game truly breeds evil within the hearts of men.

I guess it is true that Shadowbound has a NAP with Sludge. It makes sense either way: Shadowbound couldn't stand up to Sludge in a straight fight, so he has to wait until Sludge is distracted by NESer allies, Tan Serrai, or RL before he can strike.

Doesn't matter. Tunafishsalad is going to win in no time. And I was here thinking I had done well finishing in the Top Ten, but that couldn't happen.

Nevermind that, it's just perks of the trade (is that the expression?).

Guys, I'm sorry. I'm just sorry... And now I'm reduced to trolling wenatchee with my excess carriers...

Tuna needs <20 to win, I still have 39 left. Hopefully Angst won't lose too many stars on that front before the end.

I most certainly cannot.

Thus comes to an end the epic tale for survival and galactic hegemony in Pi Alnilam.

Meanwhile, in Gamma Sheratan:
Spoiler :

Gray-striped is a neutral player who was contacted by the Yellow league south of me to go to war with me. He is maintaining neutrality so far, so I hope that means peace.
Yellow-striped are in conspiracy against me and Pink Star, and are our greatest concerns as of right now. If Pink Star is to move against either the south or the north, he faces retaliation from the opposite side of his empire.

Things just got more complicated....

Encountering my first AI: what do AI act like now? Have they at least figured out how to attack neighbors? Or do they still not even know how to move fleets

Tan Serrai is actually a great, friendly guy. I'm sad that he was the opposite of my side.

I know right? I should've stayed with his alliance and invaded you in support of Neogrendal (and also annexed thomasberubeg). Tan would've mentored Bizzle in how to fight, and the pair of us could've taken on Tunafish and won.
